My husband is a quadriplegic and this brace is perfect for him. If you have problems with your hands curling up this type of brace is that you need. This one will help stretch the tendon on the forearm as well as the fingers. The type of brace that only stretches the hand will not help with the tendons up the arm, which is what we needed. We have been using daily for several months now. We have also tried a cheaper type of brace, the type you blow up, but they kept popping. This style was a little more price wise but they are so much better.

Stroke victim, bought large for my large hand to help prevent fingers curling, probably needed a X-large, but not available. Very comfortable for sleeping. But, the support insert doesn't reach to the end of the brace material and allows my fingers to curl a bit. And the finger cross strap is narrow compared to the other straps and this allows the strap to stretch just enough to allow fingers to curl under just a little while I sleep. I've tried moving that strap up and down my fingers as much as is allowed, but too far up my fingers and they curl and slide out from under the strap, and too far towards the knuckles and the fingers curl due to the soft end of the brace. Probably keeping it because it is very comfortable for sleeping. It allows my fingers to curl a little but I'm past the need for having my fingers absolutely straight and flat while I sleep. Finger strap could be wider.

Works as well as a much more expensive brace. It has a slight inclination for the hard which helps me with keeping a static stretch to keep the tendon from getting shortened. It takes a little to get used to, but it’s one of the best braces that I’ve used.

My boyfriend had a stroke about 2 years ago and this is the ONLY brace that has worked for him. It is comfortable and he can wear it all evening watching tv or taking the dogs for their walk. The brace is constructed well and should last him a very long time.

I bought the medium and they were too big. A woman should go to a smaller size. They also went almost to my elbow which was too long. They are nice and cozy - will keep your hand in position. The finger separaters were a bit worthless. I have listing fingers and those are just material. I didn’t think it kept my fingers straight. Be better for a hand or wrist issue vs. arthritic fingers.

Not very comfortable and not worth price paid

Although this product serves a purpose, it's definitely misleading too! The picture shows a slightly different product than the one we received. (Not a huge deal, just needs to be known prior to buying) It's missing the top strap that covers the Fingers that SHOULD fit in the Finger Slot. I ordered the correct size (Large) HOWEVER, the finger slots are incredibly small and could not fit his Fingers for nothing. I got this for my Quadriplegic Father, because his Hands stay in a fist position lately, & even though the one we received is not the exact one in the picture, we're making due with it.

This actually holds my dad’s hands out and arm down... love it
