Great value and taste
The England clam chowder has always been our family favorite. The portion is good, it's good enough to serve as a soup some with dinner or we usually add some noodles which makes it a nice meal too. It's easy to prepare as it can be microwaved. The multi pack always offer great value for a big family.

Cans suffered from shrinkflation
Tastes like it always did, but the cans suffered from shrinkflation and are much smaller.

Top Shelf!
My prior favorite was progressive clam chowder. They make a great product but I think this product is better. In my opinion heartier, pack with ingredients and flavor , extremely tasty, and unlike progressive, in my opinion, no metallic after taste . My only complaint is that it doesn’t seem to have as many clams as progresses version. All things considered I would still chose this product!

Great Winter Staple
I have always loved this chowder even as a child and this is a good value for a case of 8 cans to be delivered to your doorstep. It is as good as ever but now I add a small can of minced or chopped clams to intensify my adult palate. The cans were all intact, lids are the pop top type, plenty of future time to use with sell by date. If you love this cold weather staple (or any weather really!) then get a case now. So yummy, warms you through and through, add a palmful of oyster crackers and enjoy.

Its a personal choice....
I like them both: New England, and Manhattan chowders....now if you could just get the clam union to quit feeding them sand...... User approved
