I have a sun setter awning. how do i know if it has a sonfy rts motor?

Look at the remote. If it says SOMFY on it, it’s a SOMFY motor

Will this sensor work on the motorized sun setter Oasis?

We have a motorizes retractable awning and our sensor works fine. It does require batteries so be sure and check the batteries as they are not rechargeable. I don't know what the Oasis model is. Good question for the Sunsetter company.

Can i use any outdoor extension cord with my sunsetter retractable awning? i need about 30’ total.

The cord that came with our awning is about 28 feet long. So on top of that do you need another 30 feet? It's a small motor so it might be alright as long as it ( the extension cord) is securely fastened .It's a good question for Sunsetter company, ( they are very helpful,) or an electrician. I hope you enjoy your as much as we do ours.
