Aarke Carbonator Pro - Premium Sparkling Water Maker, Matte Black

As a previous drinker, it's more then just the drunkeness that's the draw. It's the crispness of a beer on a warm day, or the crisptness of a hard selter. This replicates the experience and is a huge part of what got me to stop drinking all the time. Ask your guy what flavors he wants you get him, and then give him more to try. He'll find one that takes his mind off alcohol while he's in the moment. Try it and it would be great to see these reviews turn into success stories.

I ordered one and the locking mechanism broke. It was replaced. Now 6 months later the replacement broke again. I would not buy this machine. When it works is great when it's broken it's a pain in the ass, because you have to hand twist the locking mechanism ring.b I would definitely not recommend this product.

I read the reviews and was concerned that I would just take it back. At first I almost did because I wasn't doing it right. I was pushing the button, rather than holding it down. Once I figured that out it was simple. It's a lot of money to pay for a glass bottle soda maker. Sodastream has one that is similar, I just thought it was ugly and hate buying plastic things. My thinking was that this would last longer. The water overflow is nothing. similar to condensation. It doesn't spray every where. There are a few drops from the bottle releasing. If yours is spraying every where like people have complained about I would just return it. I am very happy with it. I don't write reviews but saw that it didn't have many and wanted to share.

Should have listened to the other reviews, latch stopped working after 3 months. Not inclined to pay for a return to get an identical replacement which seems likely to stop working sooner or later. For now I'm hanging a piece of string around the 'knob' where it latches and pull it into place when I shut it. This seems to work well enough for now. I do appreciate the glass bottles, but the latch clearly needs a redesign.

Easy to use. Does exactly what it is supposed to. Which is exactly what I wanted it to do -- make carbonated water. Looks nice.

I am very impressed with the Aarke Carbonator Pro. I looks stunning on my counter and operates great. I was spending a bunch of money on carbonated canned beverages. Now I’m not.

After a few months, the seal on the bottom compartment has broken, and air leaks when the button is pressed for carbonation. The product is now completely useless; at this price point, this is unacceptable.

We have been using sodastream`s glass bottle machine for a couple of years. Although it looks a bit cheaper, it works very well! Then the Aarke came on sale late 2023, and why not try it out since we drink a lot of sparkling water.. The first tings first, the Aarke looks good and seems to be good quality, although there is a few drawbacks. First; it is made in China, and for the price that is a huge drawback. It cannot build the same pressure as the sodastream machine and it always leaks a few drops of water into the bottle container. This means it cannot produce the same sparkling level as the sodastream can.. We`ll see if gets returned or not..

l'appareil est déjà défectueux!!!

Die Ersparnis, die durch das Sprudeln von Wasser möglich ist, abgesehen von Wegfall der Wasserkästen, ist enorm. Aus diesem Grund sprudeln wir Wasser bereits seit vielen Jahren. Dass ich hierfür keine Plastikflaschen möchte, ist bestimmt jedem klar. Die Wettbewerbsprodukte funktionieren auch, unterscheiden sich aber in einem Punkt signifikant. Die Bedienung! Bei den Wettbewerbsprodukten muss man, gezwungener Maßen, mit zwei Händen ran. Entweder werden irgendwelche Stoffkonstruktionen über die Flaschen gezogen oder der Sicherungsbehälter verkeilen sich so dermaßen, dass man mit viel Kraft ran muss. Hier haben die Ingenieure bei Aarke ganze Arbeit geleistet! Das Gerät lässt sich im "Normalbetrieb" problemlos und ohne Schwierigkeiten mit einer Hand bedienen. Eine Sache ist etwas herausfordernd, nämlich der Wechsel des CO² Zylinders. Dieser wird von unten in das Gerät geschraubt, was etwas schwierig ist und sich der Zylinder manchmal lockert. Der Support hat hierauf tatsächlich geantwortet und empfiehlt hierzu etwas Desinfektionsmittel auf das Gewinde aufzubringen, damit sich dieses nicht selbst lockert. Fazit: Allein die Tatsache, nicht wie beim Soda Stream mit aller Gewalt an dem Verschloss rumdrücken zu müssen, war die Anschaffung wert. Ob die Ersatzflaschen wirklich pro Stück so teuer sein müssen, darüber lässt sich streiten. ;-)

Great product, sturdy, easy to use

I have purchased the Aarke Carbonator Pro from both Amazon Australia and Amazon UK. Both sellers seem to only stock the version that is incompatible with Australia CO2 cartridges. Would recommend avoiding purchasing from Amazon.
