Calming Chews for Dogs - for Everyday Stress, Relaxation, Composure, and Separation, Puppy Bites Turkey 90 Count

We started our dog on these treats because she began refusing to eat, and we have no clue as to why. We suspected emotional issues were at the root of the problem, and we refused to let her become malnourished. This partial anorexia can be hard on a dog's health, if alowed to continue and was a massive stressor for us as well, so, we were searching all possible solutions to the problem. My dog weighs over 60 lbs, so we started her out with 3 treats per day, but she become excessively whiny, for some reason, so we backed off to 2, then just one treat per day. I guess the ingredients affect all dogs differently, despite their size, so, one per day was perfect for our gsd/husky/lab/border collie. She became more energetic, outgoing... just seemed generally happier, more active, more like she was when she was younger. We were exceedingly pleased with the results and would like to keep buying these to maintain her positive demeanor. Just thought other customers might like to know that positive changes can happen, without all the added hassle of having to keep track of several treats per day, which also keeps the cost down. Our dog enjoys the taste, as well, and she's pretty picky...

Love the product; except that many of the bites are broken or dust. Is there a way to better handle the product in storage and shipping by the seller?

I have a 20lb American bulldog puppy. He's 12 weeks and he's extremely hyper active as well as has terrible separation anxiety. I know he's a puppy and I know that he is supposed to be active BUT I don't think it's supposed to be to this extent. At bedtime he will bark for hours cause he's left alone in his cage downstairs. I've had him since he was 5 weeks old so you would think he would be used to it by now. This product was highly recommended. This is my 3rd day giving him the amount of dosage stated and I don't see a difference AT ALL! I mean not even a little bit. It states after 30 minutes you should see a difference. Well I see absolutely no difference at all. I don't know if the product doesn't work for bullies or not but if that is the case, I do believe it should be made specific as to what puppies This product works best on! Waste of money!!! UPDATE: This company did reach out to me almost IMMEDIATELY after me writing this review to offer me a FULL REFUND. I appreciate this because MOST COMPANIES could careless. This just leaves me to believe that this company is sincere when it comes to their products. As I stated in my review, this product didn't work for my puppy but it does have great reviews from other people that does not have an American Bully. So with that being said I would definitely recommend this company and their products. Maybe not this exact product but they do offer so many more products that could be of use to you and your furry friend 😉

I use this before bath, hair cut and 4th of July. It seems to work well. It calms him down. I really noticed the difference when I do one of those activities without first giving him the chew. He is much more anxious. However it does not last very long. Ot works well for the bath and haircut but for the 4th it calms him for about an hour and then he’s back to feeling anxious.

I have a 4 month old Maltese puppy and he gets so car sick. Who ever heard of a dog not wanting to go for a ride?? My dog. When we picked him up from the breeder it was over an hour ride and he was great! Looking out the window, active, drinking water. Then when we tried to the vet, that sweet boy was throwing up and drooling everywhere. I felt so bad for him. I don't know who stunk more, him or me! Then our second attempt was when we had to be away for 3 hours, so we decided to try again. He didn't want anything to do with the SUV, he was puking before we even got to the end of the road! We turned around and reluctantly put him in his playpen while we were gone. I was determined to find something to help him. We didn't be a fur baby to leave him home all the time. So I researched the internet for 2 days and finally decided on these. One of the main reasons being that they were safe for puppies. So Thanksgiving came and we were going an hours drive away. The directions said to give our boy 1 chew a half our before the ride. We did and he gobbled it right up. We left, he was nervous and drooling and made it 50 minutes, then threw up! We went inside and he was his first little self all day. We were leaving at 8 pm so we decided to give the chew to him an hour before we left. He didn't want it. Wrapped in some turkey he gobbled it right up! We left the house, there was no apprehension about getting in the car. He snuggled in my arms and slept all the way home. We got home and little Mr. Spunky was back. I would 100% recommend these chews to anyone who has a dog that gets car sick. The smell wasn't bad to me. After we figured out to give it to him an hour before the trip, it was a miracle cure!! When I first bought these I thought they were a bit expensive, but I would give it a try. Now, I will gladly pay the Monet with no hesitation. We have a 2 hour ride coming up in 3 days. I'm very hopeful for a pleasant drive for all of us!!

They smell like campfire smoke not turkey. My puppy started throwing up a couple hours after and now it’s been 24 hours and she threw up her breakfast and lunch and has been sleepy all day. This is the only new food she has had that was different than usual so it had to be the chew. So they worked for calming but they make her sick and that’s probably why she is sleeping. Such a bummer I wanted these to work. Edit: The seller contacted me and gave me a full refund.

I bought these calming puppy bites out of desperation for some sanity. I got a 6 week old yorkie puppy a few days ago and the previous owners always gave her attention or let her out the pen when she whined. Unfortunately she has a second set of shots to get at the end of the month so I can’t walk her, which is why we are wee-wee pad training. Im also trying to break the previous owners habit with running to her aid when she’s whining (after a potty break) as we are crate training at night and play pen training by day. I let her out every 2-3 hours at night as she is really good with letting me know when she has to go. Additionally, during play pen time she’s there while I’m working. In a nutshell, she will howl and act out for 15-20 mins at a time until she self soothes and realizing I’m not responding to her. She will relax for a little then be RIGHT back at it. I received my Amazon delivery TODAY and it was right on time as it was her dinner time as well. I got home from work she was howling, whining and just down right acting a menace. I made her dinner and sprinkle one of the calming bites on top then mixed it in. I fed her at 8:15pm by 8:45pm she was laying down without a peep! I also bought her a new little anxiety bed which was also delivered today. Between these two, she was calm and quiet. I don’t think she even know what hit her lol! I see they’re mixed reviews but I took my chances and prayed it would work with my British. Glory be…I would HIGHLY recommend! I’m even ordering more just to have in inventory when she’s restless in the future. This training and habit breaking is no joke but I know with acclimating to a new place it’s expected. I’m hoping that she breaks this habit soon. We are only on day 3 together lol
