The battery life is really good ,the fitting was good which is worth my money

I didn't expect anything was still available for my old S8 Active (SM-G892A) phone. The battery had been getting bigger, pushing out the back of the phone, separating the back from the front, leaving a gap. If it were to get wet, that would be the end of my phone. I was not going to pay $80 or more for a repair shop to replace my battery. Thankfully, I found this kit which saved me a lot of money! Overall it was an easy process to open the back of the phone and replace the battery. Just a few issues like accidentally breaking the fingerprint sensor cable, which I had to get a new one from eBay for $10. Took a week to get, so I left the back of the phone unglued until I replaced the sensor. The second issue was getting the old battery out without puncturing it. It was firmly glued down which took a lot of heat from the hair dryer and eventually I was able to pry it out. The last issue was using the included perforation (sort of) molded adhesive. I say sort of because it was all one piece and the perforation cut was not easy to separate from the rest of the sheet. I had to use scissors to actually cut it from the rest. BTW the battery is a tad shorter. Use the included double-stick tape to secure it down so it won't move. According to my phone battery information, the battery is the same size at 4000mAh. Even though it is shorter it does have the same Milliamp Hours as the original phone battery.

I bought a new S8 but seller sold me a defective one with a swollen battery ... it had completely popped off the back (plastic .. not glass) back before even using. Bad ebay seller. 🤬 Anyways, this made replacing new battery extremely easy. I only had to unscrew top half of the screws .. bottom screws were not necessary for my phone. I cit the sticky yellow back tape into 2 thinner strips and attached to each side of new battery. The back case sticky one was easy to install too. Definitely a good buy/experience. I saved $200 by not taking in to phone repair shop. My phone works superb now!! Yay, me!!

The battery itself is fine, but the instructions are next to useless. They begin with "search the internet for a video titled '<phone model> battery replacement'" which is definitely what you'll need to do (there are many, watch at least three). Removing the cover was much more difficult than the videos or instructions show, for a couple of reasons: 1) not only was there glue around the perimeter of the cover, there was glue under the middle bottom of the cover, and in the middle above the camera lenses. I had to use the metal "spade" tool to get to that glue, which seemed to be a different kind of glue (black & rubbery); 2) I didn't realize until I started prying the back cover off that it is covered in a thin layer of glass, which of course breaks when you start prying at it. So plan to get a new cover too. I didn't figure out until I was done that the green plastic thing shown in the photos holds the new cover glue gasket. Oh well, I'll use that when I get the new cover. Also the blue thing in the photos wasn't included for me, instead it had a piece of double-sided tape which I had to cut to size. It worked fine, but the yellow side of the tape was pretty tricky to remove. So I'd say if you have patience, and experience with carefully removing glued parts, and disconnecting/reconnecting tiny electronic connectors, you will do fine. Otherwise you might want to pay someone else to do it.

Bought this and had a issue with the battery. I contacted them and they sent me a new one right away and it works perfectly. Awesome seller by far. Very easy to replace by yourself also. Comes with everything you need besides a heat gun.

Battery is good so far, it's been about 3 weeks. Nice kit that had everything I needed. Tools were ok, not the best but was able to get the battery replaced with them. The old battery lasted about 4 years. Old battery was slowly deteriorating one day from only powering on and getting to home screen before shutting down to finally 4 hours later where it would not power on unless it was plugged in to totally not turning on at all. This battery has brought the phone back to life.

Run away! Avoid this battery! Try a different battery. Poor battery life. Worked okay 1 week after installation. Performance drop and excessive heat after 2 weeks. At week 4: Battery now bad. Previous battery lasted 8+ years in device. No other changes. In Samsung Galaxy S10+ 512gb with 512gb micro card. Device hardware checked out good. I had battery installed by a professional at (high price. , more than cost of battery). Now I have to buy another. Then pay to get it installed. Low battery Capacity. Poor battery life. (Less than 1 month) Negative value for your money. Less than worthless! (Will pay more for replacement part plus installation. )
