Burt's Bees Hand Salve, 3 Ounces (Pack of 2)

Every November my hands begin to crack. I found Burt's Bees hand salve about four years ago and have faithfully purchased a tin each fall because it is the only product that I have found that can assuage the discomfort and help my hands heal. The consistency is somewhat greasy but the product spreads easily over hands. The product is absorbed within five minutes of application. I typically apply at night and in the morning. This routine keeps my hands moisturized and soft. I am very sensitive to perfumes. This hand salve has a distinctive scent but one that is very herbal in nature. The smell can fill a room or work office but I don't think the scent rises to the level of being obnoxious. I regularly apply it at work and have had no complaints. Typically, the scent dissipates in twenty minutes. If you are worried about the stares of colleagues, try to apply it after a nighttime shower. A little bit of this product goes a long way and a three ounce tin typically takes me through winter and spring. I like that Amazon offers the two pack so I can keep one at work and one at home. Overall, a fantastic product that is highly recommended.

If you're looking for an industrial strength hand salve, this is it. It rehydrates dry skin and protects. Smells great.

I am a big fan of Burt's Bees products, this is one of my favorites! I work in the healthcare field and am constantly using hand sanitizer and other stuff that notoriously makes my hands dry. When I tried this for the first time, yes it was greasy and had a "mediciney" smell. Not a "chemical" smell, but kind of like vapor rub or something. Anyways, after I let my hands absorb the salve for a few minutes they were REALLY SOFT AND SMOOTH! Even after washing my hands they stayed the same and the smoothness continued throughout the entire day! I apply every night so I can have the smoothness all day everyday. This product is great and the tin last a long time. Highly recommended!

I partake in rock climbing few days a week. If untreated, the skin on my hands becomes very rough. I don’t particularly mind this since my hand never cracks. However, my wife hates my rough hands. Therefore I use this product regularly. I apply them to my hands three or four times a day to keep my hands feeling like soft leather. I have a tin in my car, by my bed, and in the kitchen so I can apply them frequently. I used to use “climb on”, which worked much better on my skin but I’m trying out this product since it’s a fraction of cost. It is however pretty oily and makes everything you touch oily as well. All in all, a good product for someone who works a lot with his/her hands and want to keep them softer.

The smell is very pleasant. It works well. Burt's Bee products are great products.

This is my bestie! As a bartender I could not live without this. The smell is strong. I personally love it. But sometimes people complain about it so also an amazing way to ward off annoying co workers. But seriously this stays put even with frequent hand washes. Actually penetrates skin and protects them. Not sticky or greasy.

Non ricordo di aver avuto mani così morbide...! Ho le mani, le cuticole e le unghie tendenzialmente molto secche d'inverno con temperature basse sono soggette a ragadi. La crema ha una texture solida ma si distribuisce senza difficoltà, inizialmente unge parecchio ma si assorbe rapidamente. La uso principalmente la sera e nei momenti di relax con risultati notevoli, anche sui piedi (indossando subito dopo, per una decina di minuti, dei calzini di cotone). Gli oli naturali di cui è composta hanno un profumo gradevole e rilassante. Prodotto eccezionale.

Los comentarios negativos, no hacen justicia a este bálsamo y no saben cómo funcionan Si tenéis las manos rajadas como yo las tengo en la primera foto, las cremas NO sirven, además escuecen, incluso de marcas muy conocidas. Esta crema REPARA la barrera lipídica de la piel, la vuelve elástica, mis manos se sienten cómodas y regeneradas. Las fotos son del mismo día. Usé una crema muy hidratante y me volvían a salir las grietas y me dolía mucho, no podía estirar la mano y muchas rojeces. Este bálsamo no se usa como una crema, hay que usar muy poquita cantidad. Igual es un poco “fastidiosa” porque hay que estar dándole para que entre en las grietas y las cremas no, pero esto os va a curar las grietas y las cremas lo van a tapar. Tengo pasa años con este tarro! Sin duda un infalible en época de frío para mi.
