This “On Air” sign is such a fun and functional addition to my workspace. The light is bright and easy to see without being harsh, and it instantly makes my setup feel more professional and intentional. I use this for my home podcast and creative recording space, and it’s perfect for letting everyone know when I’m recording. It helps minimize interruptions and sets the tone for focused work. One feature I really love is that you can use it either plugged in or with batteries. That flexibility makes it easy to place anywhere, even without nearby outlets, which is super convenient. It’s lightweight, easy to set up, and looks great both on camera and in person. The quality feels solid, and it adds such a fun, polished touch to my space. I put this above my home office door and it’s honestly one of the best little upgrades I’ve made. I do patient calls from home, and this makes it super clear to my family when I’m on a call or in a meeting. No more knocking or opening the door and risking overhearing private conversations. Huge win for privacy. The remote works perfectly through the closed door, which I wasn’t sure about at first, but it’s been flawless. The light is bright enough to see from down the hall, but not blinding. I’ve been using it daily for several weeks now and the batteries are still going strong. It also has a plug if you’d rather keep it powered that way, but I like the flexibility of battery power. It’s really lightweight, so I just used adhesive picture hanging strips and it hasn’t budged. If you want a permanent setup, it does come with mounting holes too. Build quality is solid, and it looks sharp — not cheap or flimsy at all. If I had to nitpick, the brightness isn’t adjustable, so you just get one setting. For me it’s fine, but it would be nice to dim it down at night or tweak it depending on the room. Overall, great quality for the price, super easy to use, and it does exactly what I needed it to do. Definitely worth it if you work from home, stream, or just want a simple way to signal “do not disturb.”

Excellent product! It meets expectations and gives your setup an excellent look. Keep in mind that it operates with external batteries, as it does not have a built-in rechargeable battery. It can also work with a phone charger — the cable is included, but the charger is not.

I do really like this light and functions as it should. The brightness is perfect for even in a well lit area. I can still differentiate when the sign is on or off. The battery life is decent however my only gripe with the sign is there is no indication of the light being on/off from the remote side. It is truly left to your memory to know that it is on or off. If I could provide any feedback for future RND, it would be to have some sort of indication on the remote when the light is on. At the same time, the value for this sign is well worth the minimal cost. It certainly has been effective outside of my office for my family.

A simple all plastic sign that resembles the "real thing" . . . Nice to get with the remote that allows for turning on and off at a distance - great for theater groups doing olde time radio show.

Great gadget, looks cool. But there are two big flaws. First, the USB-C connection does not work at all. I tried it because of problem number two, which is it CHEWS through AA batteries at breakneck speed. Had it a month, don’t use it every day, and I’m on my third set of three AA’s. No bueno. Overall, looks good, but when I really get tired of chewing through batteries, I’ll find something else.

We use this light in our radio station. The light works well indoors. Mounting holes are provided. A USB C cable is supplied, with the assumption that it is to charge batteries that have that ability. The light takes 3 AA batteries. The on-off-on rocker switch works well. The upper setting turns the light on continously while the center position is off. The remote is in the lower switch setting. However we had to remove the plastic battery activation tab to allow an electrical connection on the included remote which has 2 buttons, on and off. The first few times the remote did not work. We removed the battery, checked the voltage with a lab VOM meter and it tested very good. The battery was reinserted, the light switch was cycled a couple of times, and the remote now functions as expected. Would buy again.

I would advise not to buy this product, or buy the product if you intend on manually turning on and off the light without the remote feature. I am no technical expert, but my belief is that when the switch is set to be controlled by the remote, there is an open frequency searching for the remote signal even when the device is visually off. I have been through quite a few batteries thinking I am doing something wrong but I feel that this is just a product flaw. Product is probably better priced at $5-$10 and not $20+.

It's a perfect match for my home studio. Added this to my mixerboard so people know when to keep their mouth shut when the mic is hot.
