Really happy I picked these up. Vortex has always proven itself to me, and these flip caps are no different. Fit is solid, the spring action feels strong, and they snap open clean every time. You can tell they’re built to last and actually hold up to real use, not just sitting in a safe. I also like the multiple stop positions—it’s a small detail but makes a difference depending on your setup. At the end of the day, it’s exactly what you’d expect from Vortex: reliable, well-built, and backed by a warranty you can trust.

Great product with a reasonable price tgat fit perfectly

Fits my Viper PST... Simple install though very tight fit, almost thought I wasn't going to be able to get it on but it kept the objective dry and clean like it should. Good quality as expected from Vortex.

I love these things. Keeping up with the scope cover is a nightmare. Great quality l, they fit perfect. They slide right on. Very functional

The set with the size 50 objective fit my 4-16x50 Viper HSLR very well. They are a little harder (compared to butler creek) to get on; but I would hope that also means they are harder to come loose/off. It is because of the longer section of silicone on each cap. A little annoying, but better grip. It took no longer than a minute or two to get them on, going back and forth from side to side; pulling a little more down each time. Read the measurements for each size, then measure your scope or check mfg specs, and you should find the right fit. They function fine, but do require a little more effort to snap open than the red button/trigger style butler creek caps. Once it's loose, the springs flip them right open. One thing that is annoying is that with the eyepiece closed, I cannot cycle the bolt. It bumps one of the opening tabs. Normally you wouldn't be cycling the bolt with the eyepiece closed. I always store my rifle in the safe with the bolt fully open. Yes, the other 99% of the time you would not be cycling the bolt without the eye piece open, but whatever. The butler creek only has a tab on the left side, which would not affect my bolt. It's not a huge thing, and I can probably trim the tab down or off with my dremel. I am being a little picky and also referencing butler creek a lot bc they're the only other brand I've ever used. I assume if somebody is reading this, they're probably considering both brands (as they're in the same price range). Overall they're fine and much better than the bikini covers, just a couple of things worth mentioning.

Fit perfectly, just make sure the eyepiece settings don’t move. If they do move, remove the cap and reinstall.

Vortex has very nice products. When I opened the package, immediately I realized that the DOPE sticker was different (shown in photo). It was just a single white sticker with 12 little lines ( 6 on each side) and one longer line across the bottom. It looked nothing like the photo online. I have a Christian Arms MPR .300 Win Mag with the Vortex Viper PST GenII. The silicone objective lense cover stretched fine to fit the scope but the way the scope fits on my gun WITHOUT an high scope ring, the caps don't fit. Just wanted to put that out there incase anyone has the same setup. Otherwise, the Vortex caps are awesome! The silicone is thick and strong yet very flexible. The scope caps both spring right up. They are very good quality! The caps also lay flat while open so as to keep your field of view clear. They are tight but not hard to apply. Again, very great quality!
