FINALLY some Relief!!! A year ago to the day I fell and broke my left hip. I had the replacement surgery and all was well until a possible fall caused me to twist the wrong way and I dislocated my hip. The pain was far worse than the fall and break, just AGONY. The hospital performed a Left Hip Reduction which is relocating the implant and I got to go home later that evening. Unfortunately, they did not have a hip brace and I was sent home with just the leg brace. They told me to keep it elevated, ice, medication and to take it easy. After the dislocation I am in constant FEAR that it will pop out again, understandably sore and it feels Super Sensitive, like wobbly. I cannot sleep afraid that a sudden movement during the night will pop it out again. So I got this brace and the moment it was on I felt RELIEVED! The belt part and the section that goes down to the thigh strap section covers my scar from the implant Perfectly and the compression is JUST PERFECT! It gives good support when I am mobile and best of all it is Comfortable enough to sleep in!!! I wish I had gotten this brace sooner and since I will be using it for a long time I have ordered another. The hip brace is Very Well Made, the Velcro grip is strong and helps it stay in place with minimal shifting even in bed or walking with crutches! It is light and breathable and an AWESOME VALUE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE DR. ARTHRITIS HIP BRACE!!!

Fits well (female, overweight, bought L/XL). It's giving me the support I need and pain is gone. Update: after wearing it 2 weeks it has stretched (not a bad thing), and I lost a couple of lbs (because I can move again). Buying the s/m. Because I'm not in pain all day, I now have more energy.

Works good for about two or three hours. Then have to do a major readjustment and it seems fine for another two or three hours. That’s about the only complaint otherwise it’s a good purchase. I am willing to adjust it every two or three hours if it helps the pain in my hip, which it does!

I ordered one from my left side it came in in a couple days no problem, it's a great item. But I want one from my right hand side due to my sciatic nerve damaged. It's going on a week and it's still not here? When I go to the order page it says cancel the order? So I pushed the cancel button so I could buy it from another source besides Amazon. Will I get an email saying the order cannot be canceled but yet it has yet to be shipped? Poor customer service, I would suggest the item but I would not buy it here.

This item is clearly high quality in material and manufacture. I was between sizes and went large. In this case, the sizing is generous. If you're also between sizes go smaller. So why only only 3 stars? The size was my fault, but I ordered a right hand brace and the order changed back to the apparent default of left hand. Being too big and wrong side, I can't say for certain if this brace would work.

Bought with hopeful expectations to help an ailing hip joint. Not sure what is causing the problem besides old age. However, have been wearing it while sleeping (side sleeper) and it is very effective in eliminating the pain. Inexpensive, well made support wrap which is easy to wear when sleeping.

Product is great but I need a brace for my leg. Purchased by mistake. The company is a good place to get your product! Quality is good and the size is accurate!

It was not a proper fit for my body type. It was very loose were I needed the support.

The belt part of this item is not wide and keep rolling over. The leg sleeve is the best part.
