How many layers of cake can fit in here?

I used them for 8 inch 3 layer cakes...each layer an inch to an inch and a half plus a double batch (2 lb powdered sugar---2-8 oz blocks cream cheese---1 lb butter). Came all the way to the top but didn't touch. (Red Velvet---Italian Cream) I did a cake that had raised decorations on top and that one didn't fit in these boxes.

Are there 30 complete boxed, or 15 bases and 15 lids since it says 30 pc?

I only got 15 tops and 15 bottoms.
