AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T6, Quiet 6” Inline Duct Fan w/Environment Controls

So I ordered this 3x3 tent on February 8th, 2021 from AC Infinity directly and I was patiently waiting for the T6 inline fan to go in stock because I didn’t want to get the carbon filter without having a way to test it but then I noticed it came in stock on Amazon a few days before the projected date for their stock direct from AC Infinity so I contacted customer support and asked if they’d help with an exchange/return if any problems occurred since I’m weary getting certain things from Amazon but all was well and they packaged the stuff in the original ACI’s boxes into an Amazon package so it protected it well and it eased my worries I’d be getting a knock off. You could set this up yourself but two people would be MUCH easier because I had my friend come over and help! They held the stuff up while I connected everything. The zip ties it came with were pretty short and I wanted it setup as an exhaust which I accidentally pointed the fan the wrong direction and I had to cut them anyways so I went to my local hardware store and got some 8inch zip ties which worked perfectly but I still trimmed off the excess to make it clean looking. The tent now has ZERO pressure at fan speed 6 with the carbon filter! In the video the fan sounds you’re hearing is not only from the exhaust setup but also the lights fans and the tower fan I have currently on in the setup at the time of this video. The arrows on the fan point in the direction of where the airflow will be going so if you want an intake you would have it pointing into the tent and if you want an exhaust you would want it pointing out of the tent but that’s just one way you can set it up since I saw on the ACI website they show you can have everything outside of the tent and achieve the same results! The speed can go up to 10 and sheesh that’s powerful I’m scared the tent will get sucked into a black hole haha but seriously it’s a really good setup for this 3x3 and I believe it would work fine for a bigger tent but at some point you’d have to get bigger than the 6” so just make sure you calculate how much CFM you’ll need. I was torn between this one and the T4 but I went with this one since I’d rather have too much airflow and be able to have it running at a low speed and achieve the same if not more than what the T4 could do on higher speeds! I was thinking about getting the silencer but I feel as if I have no need for it right now since the fan is like white noise and I’ve always slept with fans in my room and it’s just sounds like another one of those and I even think it adds more circulation into my room which my room has always been the hottest in the house so I’d even get this stuff for home use! I sadly don’t have anything to test decibels and haven’t seen how much power it’s drawing (I.E. electricity bill) yet but if I’m able to edit this review I will update that when I find out! I got the 25ft ducting cause it wasn’t expensive IMO compared to the measly 8ft and I’ve never used ducting before so I figured if I make a mistake I’ll have plenty to play with and I was right because the wiring goes in a spiral and I nearly was about to follow the whole spiral to cut it haha but seriously you need to get some good wire cutters because it was some strong a** wire! The controller it comes with I have yet to play with the various settings because I’ve heard some mixed things about it so I’ve just been manually turning it on and off which it’s the morning of Feb 19th 2021 and it ran its first run perfectly from yesterday the 18th and all through the night to right now as I’m typing and is still on just as efficient! If you’re thinking about getting anything from AC Infinity don’t hesitate because they will sell out fast! So in the video it was at like 77F and I can’t remember RH (Relative humidity) but now after I turned off the lights for more than 15mins it’s down to 75F with 45% RH!

This is the second one I have bought over the last 3 years. The first one I bought was the 6" blower and I placed it on my Barndo to element negative pressure due the the building being spray foamed. It works great. The second one I bought is the 10" on my goodness at the air it moves. I put it on the main line feeding my game room that is completely on the other end of my house. That room has always been running 5 to 7 degrees warmer the the rest of the house. We could hardly feel any air coming from the vents. After installing it you can feel the movement of air and it cooled the air down to rest of house in about 10 minutes. I have it in auto and have it so it stays on setting 2 100% of time and ramps up as needed. You can't hear the blower at all. Supper quite and highly recommend.

I had been on a hunt for low power high CFM fan. I researched on centrifugal fans, mixed flow fans, EC fans. Giving the power consumption and features I settled with this one. Packaging was impressive and the parts themselves reek of quality. DC fan with Dual ball bearing fans are a welcome :). Parts included are; thermostat-controller console, temperature sensor probe, power brick, fan unit, 2 x ducting clamps The fan itself is much lighter compared to other AC fans (not surprising given the fact that power delivery is through a brick) Operation was fairly straightforward once you get used to controls on the thermostat/controller console. I have been using two of these (intake+exhaust) to cool off a mining rig and I am quite content with the performance. I have tried Active Air 6" centrifugal fan rated at 400 CFM. Though being a quality product, was too loud and consumed 105 watts. These are rated at 350 CFM at 40W with added benefit of thermostat control - smart operation. The fans are tad loud at high speed (speed 5-6) but not even close to other fans out there. Speed 1-4 are quiet for my taste. Following are the numbers captured from my test (see image below), CFM measured by converting from Ft/min unit measured by UT363 power consumption measured at the wall using Kill-A-Watt meter Noise captured using a cellphone app measured 3ft away from the fan (probably unreliable but you get the relative idea; active air used to be 85dB+ on this app) Electricity savings per month (considering 10 cents per unit) 40w vs 100w $3 vs $7.2. That's a $4 saving in a month from a single fan. Much more with when the speeds are lower and automatically controlled using thermostat-smart operation. Other thoughts Since this is a mixed flow fan it might not be good to have lots of bends in your ducting. For long ducts with bends, centrifugal fans are much more effective. My exhaust fan didn't suffer from reduced CFM due to bend when I ran it through a 6ft 6" ducting. CFM on intake end reduced by 40% because of filter. (YMMV) Warranty could have been at least 3 years because in comparison others do provide 3,5 or even 10 years (Vortex). However, arguably there are more points of failure for this unit.

We are looking to improve the efficiency of our home's HVAC ducts, so we are installing this product from AC Infinity—it’s really great and can be controlled via your mobile phone. I plan to add an air filtration unit and a dehumidifier from the same brand, as they integrate with the central control panel. We can already see the difference since installing the system; the central HVAC is more efficient, and the compressor runs less—meaning greater efficiency all around and savings on electricity costs, too.

Overall this is a really well-built inline duct fan. On its lower settings (less than 5), it's quiet, but then it starts to get a bit louder. I have 2 of the 6" units, perhaps the larger diameter models are aless noisy as they can move more air thru the larger duct. I really like the efficiency, and volume level of these units in general. The controller is also nice with several programming options for automatic control, but this is where it could really use some tweaks to make that 5-star rating. First, the controller has a high & low temp, and high & low humidity threshold where it will turn the fan on. This is nice for your generic uses, but when you want a little more of a comparative control, or if you want an "OR" activation (for example, turn on above 80F OR below 60F), it can't handle that. You can set EITHER above or below, or you can set a range in the middle, but you can't set BOTH above or below at the same time. Next, there needs to be a variable speed "idle" state. For example, if I set the threshold of "Speed 6 above 80F", I would also like to have an "idle" state of "speed 3 below 80F". But this is not an option. It's either on or off, not fast or slow. Next, the controllers are capable of running 2 blowers, but they have to be on the same program. So, I have to use 2 controllers because I have my 2 units doing different things. It should be very easy to have 2 "programs" running, with different variables, and allow that single controller to operate 2 blowers independently. There needs to be smart technology integration. This is a big one today! With smart home and voice assistants on the rise, there is absolutely no reason this system could not be integrated! build an app with the same display as the controllers, allow the user to control the units, change settings, or put in temporary conditions. Allow for overrides, and sensor integration with conditions like "run program A unless sensor detects rain, then run program B" Integrate with Samsung SmartThings, Alexa, HomeKit, Google, etc. Right now, I have no remote controlability for these blowers, or if I want to do anything with them, I have to go to the basement and work on the wall-mounted controller. So again, they're great blowers, but they need those little tweaks to really get that 5-star rating!

AC Infinity you Rock My Plants World!!!! Thank you for being so amazing, I was struggling with Humidity and temps...I was blessed by AC infinity with this purchase by receiving the AI Controller...I absolutely love this, I can check on my plants instwad of being tied to Bluetooth, so amazed by the WiFi Capability...No longer do I have to be within the vicinity, I can check on them anytime, anywhere. I previously had a 4" and was struggling with temps but installing this T6 brought me down to 75 degrees from 83 degrees. Huge game changer!!!! So easy to install, they literally provide you everything! The size is great for hanging in my tent, and the Power this thing has is top notch!!! Best value for your money, and I know my plants are much happier, healthier and comfortable!! Thank you AC Infinity for all of your tremendous work, I couldn't be happier!!!

This a super quite fan.The controller has a bluetooth smart phone App which works faultlessly.There is also a long power cord. The controller can power two fans simultaneously. Bought a cheaper fan first which was noisy & returned. The fan works best with hard plastic ducting as this carries virtually no sound compared to flexible ducting. On full speed the fan is barely audible.The only sound coming from the two intakes I have drawing air.I have the fan exhausting through an external wall duct which also reduces noise. Excellent fan, highly recommended.

Hab den Pro T6 gekauft, nachdem ich zu erst den Cloudray S6 Clip-Ventilator gekauft habe und davon mehr als begeistert bin. EU Stecker und App auf Deutsch. Ich muss jedoch ehrlich zugeben das ich zuerst gezögert habe, durch die doch öfters mal negative Bewertungen im Bezug auf Lautstärke. Letztendlich habe ich mich dann doch dazu entschieden das ganze selber zu testen und muss sagen das war die beste Entscheidung die ich hätte treffen können. Das Teil ist der Knaller und bin sehr froh nicht auf die negativen Bewertungen gehört zu haben. Was aber stimmt ist das der Pro 6 ab Stufe nicht mehr so leise ist wie auf den Stufen vorher( heißt nicht er ist laut sonder eben nur nicht mehr so flüsterleise wie auf z.b. Stufe 3) und ja auf Stufe 10 ist er nicht mehr leise sondern laut aber dazu muss auch erwähnt werden das das Teil jenseits von gut und böse Luft absaugt das ist schon der Wahnsinn. Und auch wie ich finde eine sehr wichtige Info, der T6 läuft eigentlich nur zwischen den Stufen 1-3 vielleicht kurzzeitig (2-3min) mal auf 4 mehr ist gar nicht nötig. (Box: 180cm x 100cm x 180cm) Betreibe das Ganze mit dem AI+ Controller und da gibt es auch die Möglichkeit das ganze einzustellen, das der Lüfter nicht höher als z.b. Stufe 6 geht was er bei mir aber noch nicht vorgekommen ist, musste ihn manuell auf Stufe 10 stellen um mir die Lautstärke da mal anzuhören. Fazit: Eine absolute Kaufempfehlung meinerseits und mit etwas Glück wie in meinem Fall(weiß nicht ob ich es hier erwähnen soll da ich nicht genau weiß ob es ein Fehler seitens Infinty war oder der beste Marketing move der Welt ist😁) hat AC Infinity auch noch eine mehr als positive Überraschung für euch sobald ihr den Karton öffnet. Wer aber richtig liest sollte es erkennen. Und für alle die durch YT-Videos oder Rezensionen wie ich zuerst etwas zögern, den kann ich nur sagen hört nicht darauf und macht euch ein eigens Bild, ihr werdet mit aller höchster Wahrscheinlichkeit nicht enttäuscht werden.
