These silverettes are an absolute life saver when you have a baby that breastfeeds. They protect your nipples and the silver helps keep bacteria away. These are the original silver nipple covers and are much nicer quality than the cheap knockoffs going around.

Absolutely essential. I had noticed a major improvement in pain and how quickly my nipples healed in between feedings. Great for first time moms learning how to latch or just breastfeeding difficulties. I like to use with a breast pad inside my bra in case they filled with milk or leaked which they typically did but I didn't mind. Worth the trouble for the benefits. Be aware that these could show up under clothing due to their shape. Im not sure how the silver does its magic, but what a miracle product!

These were an absolute lifesaver during my first week of breastfeeding. I’m honestly so thankful I bought them before I needed them, because if I’d had to wait for shipping while dealing with sore, sensitive nipples… I would have been a very uncomfortable woman. The relief was almost immediate — like magic, seemingly overnight. They protected, soothed, and gave my body the chance to heal while I figured out breastfeeding. I can’t overstate how transformative they were during those early days. One note for anyone deciding between options: I ordered them with the O-rings, and while I know some people like them for catching milk, I personally found them more comfortable without the rings and ended up removing them. That said, it’s very much a personal preference, and I was glad to have the option to try both. If you’re on the fence or thinking “I’ll see if I need these later,” I’d strongly encourage you to just get them ahead of time. When you need relief, you need it now — not in two days. These are absolutely worth it and something I’d recommend to any breastfeeding parent!!

Okay I bought these with extremely high hopes! I REALLY wanted them to work! With a newborn who loves to cluster feed and still figuring out their latch, you will do anything to alleviate the nipple tenderness! Including spending a pretty penny on silverettes. You aren’t supposed to use any sort of nipple creams or butter or lanolin with these so I didn’t. But when your milk “comes in”, you LEAK. These stuck to my nipples and I had to peel them off, which left my areola feeling even more tender. It was so painful! I got the larger size because it had the silicone rings and I wanted to avoid the painful digging ring on my areola…. Well it did not stop the painful digging indent. I had a horrible indent, which was also painful. I felt like I was having to heal my nipples and areola after using these more than I would have had I not tried them and just used a nipple butter. Super let down because these are kind of costly.

I suffered for weeks adjusting to breastfeeding my first. With my second child I thought I breastfed my first over a year this will be no problem. However, just because you know what you’re doing doesn’t mean your baby does! So a week into feeding my second my nipples were completely black from being scabbed over. I was so desperate for pain relief I decided to try these. I put them on late at night around midnight and early the next morning took them off and I have no idea how it works but my nipples were completely healed. No scabs, looked perfectly normal and no pain. I wear them every night these first few weeks while getting back adjusted to breastfeeding and now it’s going great and I’m in no pain. I swear these are some kind of magic because I have no idea how it works. My husband didn’t believe me the next morning when I said they were totally healed because they had been that bad the night before. Worth every dime and honestly more. There’s no worse pain than really painful nipples and this is the best cure.

I like these but even the XL seem rather small. When my nipples hurt they do seem to make them feel better but I have read you shouldn’t wear them all the time.

These are actually great, my nipples felt relieved from a painful bleb within a few hours wear.... BUT my baby REFUSED to nurse after I removed these. I'd have to take a quick shower with a hungry, angry baby waiting! So great for nips.... not so great for a discerning baby. Lol

Good product

Loved this product, saved me from a lot of pain. I could apply creams and it wouldn't rub off. Also it would prevent my blistered nipples from adhering to the bra. I think the silicon ring helps with comfort or the metal digs in. Overall i used it for 2 weeks and after only on an as needed base. I would spend the money again if i had to.

I really love these. I usually put them in the freezer and then wear them whenever it hurts due to nursing my baby. I found instant relief by putting frozen breastmilk in it and then wearing it for an hour. However, I don’t keep my nipples wet. At least, not for long duration as this can cause thrush. They also protect my nipples from contact with fabric as the friction can hurt. The only thing is the price that i think is too much and you can find alternatives that can be lower in cost and do the same thing.

I was struggling with very sore and cracked nipples after I had my 2nd baby! I recall with my first being unable to get relief, so I decided to try these this time! They provided immediate relief and within a couple days the cracking was significantly reduced and within a week they were nearly healed!
