Well, can 100% confirm it worked to break up my two male Dobermans (80-90lbs) who have a history of fighting. Took several jabs (3-5) and realized the shorter model would be better as natural instinct had me too close so I had to pull back to reshock. Wish the shorter one had a replacement rod I could use to switch out.

I have been struggling with behaviors between 2 of my very large dogs lately. My GSD has been attacking my Pit Bull very viciously over resource guarding and pack order. They are both so huge that even when I try to physically break up the fights I cannot. I was at my wit’s end thinking I’ll have to put down the GSD when I was looking on Amazon for a taser or some sort of deterrent to break up the attacks. And I found this and, it’s been a LITERAL life saver. If I hadn’t had it at the ready to prod my GSD off the other dog she could have done some serious bodily harm. Now, when she sees me even holding the prod, she runs. I would NOT recommend this tool on anything other than LARGE dogs (both my females are 75 pounds) and ONLY as a deterrent. I tell you what though, we have a lot of large stray dogs and coyotes that run around loose in our area, and I’ll never go on a walk without this prod ever again!

Works well to keep the extra annoying livestock back when I'm trying to feed or work the fence. Quick zap and they get it. For the extra stubborn, just hold the trigger while popping them. It doesn't take much for them to figure out that it's not worth it to keep being a pest.

Works well. Battery lasted long enough to work some cows and still had some zap left in it.

It does what you would expect. Keeps my kids safe from the one unpredictable goat. Doesn't work as a deterrent on roosters, though that is more of a rooster intelligence issue than an actual problem with the product.

This worked good for my small cattle operation, since I’ll only use it sparingly. If you have a large cattle operation or frequent use, I would recommend spending a little more and getting a sturdier one. Power seemed adequate to move a 1500lb cow and held the charge entire time working them,(didn’t use one every cow.) Good unit for the money.
