I really like this case! So much so that I ordered another one just to have on hand (original in Matte Black, new one in Abyss Green) - It is NOT compatible with magsafe accessories, which for me is a PLUS! I don't want extra magnets on the back of my phone and I have no interest in magsafe accessories. If you search for "iPhone 16" cases you will find that the majority have the extra magnets in the case, so if you don't want that there aren't a ton of options. - HOWEVER, it IS compatible with magsafe chargers! I use an Apple magsafe charger and it snaps into place and charges perfectly. - This is a slim no-frills case, but does feel protective. It has a nice lip for the front glass as well as a lip over the camera lenses. - I find the feel of the case to be sufficiently grippy and to me it is very pleasing from a tactile perspective. - The buttons have plastic covers over the actual buttons, but there is a bit of an opening on the sides of each one. I'm not sure of the reason for this, but the buttons work very well and don't require extra force. - I find that the cutout for the camera control works very well. Keep in mind that the new camera control is a bit fiddly under the best of situations. I mainly use it to open the camera and take photos or videos quickly. I am also able to access options like zoom and such, but I don't rely on the button as the main way to change options. Some cases feature a special button that covers the actual touch button, but I'm skeptical of that approach. Note that one advantage of the cutout on this case is it is very easy to feel for the button and activate it for a quick photo / video. - A number of review have mentioned that the lighter-colored cases stain easily. I have the dark versions, so this is not an issue, but I can easily imagine the light colors attracting stains that can't be easily removed. - In summation, I think this case looks good, feels good, has nice buttons and cutouts and provides good protection.

This seems to be an excellent case, with a great look and streamlined form factor. I was mainly interested in the texture for grippy-ness, and it's perfect that way. Not sticky or dust gathering like silicone, but still grippy enough to not slip in your fingers. My previous case was a replacement for the one I had before, but apparently my fingers are too dry now or something and the case was simply too darn slippery -- but nicely designed and elegantly simple otherwise. Also, it was better for mag-safe charging -- the Spigen is a slight bit thicker in order to imprint its texture, and therefore does not handle the mag-safe charger clinging very well. It does hold if in the exactly right spot, but charges less efficiently, hence my knocking one star off of what is otherwise a very nice and protective case. I wish it had mag-safe material embedded to extend the magnetic charger adhesion. UPDATE: Inspired by the textural pattern here I "enhanced" my other case (Torras Slim Fit) for grabbiness with scuffing and cross-hatched scoring which works great! See that review for photo.

As good as it gets. It’s plastic with a rubberized shell. It feels good in your hand and doesn’t feel slippery like most very thin cases do. This is as thin as you can get without buying something like a Peel case. A literal hair thicker and a couple hairs thinner than your average silicone case. The result is a case that feels ultra thin with the protection of a silicon case. Hard to pull off. Executed perfectly here. A real case case. Someone spent money on engineering it … far from the cheap Chinese stuff which is nice. Can’t imagine anything better … oh yeah it does lack MagSafe. So there is that. Still five stars for me as I’m old school and don’t need it.

I've had other Spigen cases and, when I got this phone, I made the mistake of getting a lesser known brand because it was a few dollars less. That other case often interfered with wireless charging because it had a built-in magnet ring, and eventually the corner cracked not from dropping it but from just taking the phone out of the case now and so it would properly wireless charge. This Spigen case is lighter, feels better in the hand, the buttons work better, it doesn't finger print with the textured back, and there's no magnet ring to mess up the charging.

Third time is the charm and boy does it work! This is such an amazing case and i am glad i was able to get it for my IPhone 17 PRO after trying cases from 3 name brands. The color, texture and design is just on point without compromising the protection at all. It covers everything edge to edge and you don’t have to worry about an open plateau on the pro models or regular like with almost every case out there. Everyone who sees the case asks me about, it which is a first lol. You just have to find the best case that suits what you like and Spigen has infinite options to choose from. Switching to Spigen for life from the big ‘BOX’ brand 😎

I bought a Spigen and a Lohasic case for iphone 17, The Spigen has a lower profile, and a excellent grip patern, and the Lohasic also has excellent grip with the leather type material, both the cases have excellent buttons, I would call both these cases as simple design features, and both cases having outstanding designs. I would consider the Spigen, best for a case that will be in your pocket, whereas the Lohasic looks very nice on a desk or phone holder.
