Great product, I’m a Boat Detailer and I use this because I ran out of my other three product I was surprised how it cut through the light oxidation and brought the shine back immediately with a high-speed buffer I’ve been buying it ever since for my light oxidation boats

Really convenient having the polish and wax combined in one product and the finish you get is excellent. My boat had some light fading and after one pass it looked like it just came off the lot. Saves time and money versus buying two separate products.

Used on a 1998 cobalt boat. My gel coat has been maintained very well over the years but I figured it could use a little polish. I’ve always been a fan of 3M products so I thought I’d give this a shot. There was a small area of oxidation on the boat and this stuff wasn’t able to take care of it. It did however smooth out fine scratches and left the rest of the boat very smooth and ready for a fresh coat of wax. I used a griots garage DA buffer on speed 3.5 with a T10 polishing pad. If you have oxidation or a lot of scratches I’d go with a product that has more cutting power. This is a very fine cutting polish so don’t expect it to take out anything too deep.

We love this product and have ordered it many times, along with other 3M products in this line (Perfect-it Gelcoat). However, for some reason there isn’t a seal on the inside of the lid, as there are for so many liquid products…. This means that unless the seller tapes the lid shut and/or puts the whole thing in a sturdy plastic bag, and then tapes the bag shut, it can easily leak out during shipment. When I cleaned the lid I noticed that the lid itself was slightly faulty - it didn’t click shut evenly on both sides, but even if it had been a perfect lid, it still needed to be taped down at the very least. Luckily we didn’t loose too much of the product, and it didn’t leak through to the outside of the box, possibly damaging surfaces it comes into contact with. We’ve had this issue before with MANY products we use detailing boats. That’s always a risk when something is being shipped to you - most of the time we’ve received this brand they are taped shut. This instance just demonstrates how important that extra step is.

Great product

I don't usually do reviews, but this product far exceeded my expectations bringing some 10 yr old slightly faded white gelcoat back to life. I simply used a micro fibre cloth and a very little amount of the polish/wax and the surface came up shinning right away. No buffing machine, just by hand. Very impressed.
