Great pump, definitely recommended for tea drinkers!
This pump is amazing! It is very sturdy and will give you a good amount of honey with each pump. I drink tea every morning and this is best way to put honey in my cup. There is no drippy, sticky honey after you use the pump. I did not purchase the recommended honey because I use store bought honey, but the pump still works great with any honey. I am going to purchase another one to use for agave nectar!

Works well for me--with a little modification.
With a little modification it works well. Using it on a apple butter jar, lid fits fine. Got food grade tubing at Lowe's and made the intake tube longer. Now it works to the bottom of the jar! Hard to find a pump that will actually work for honey, this one does. I know they manufactured it for their own brand of jar, but I have my own bees.

Revised Rating After Purchase of Second Pump
Update (12/5/2019I originally gave this honey pump a five star rating based on my purchase in December of 2018. That pump worked perfectly (see original review below). In fact I liked it so much that I decided to purchase a second honey pump in September of 2019 to take with me on vacation. That pump was awful and doesn't even deserve one star. It would spit out tiny little droplets of honey. The plunger would extend to full height rapidly meaning it was not drawing the honey properly up into the tube after each pump. It took an enormous number of pumps to get to one teaspoon. After struggling through one jar of honey with the new pump I disassembled the pump, washed and dried it thoroughly, and reassembled in the hopes that it would work better. It doesn't. In fact it doesn't work at all now no matter how fast or slowly I depress the plunger.Based on the second pump I can no longer recommend this honey pump and have changed my rating to one star.ORIGINAL REVIEW AND UPDATEI purchased this along with the Pre-Drilled Mason Jar Lids sold by Specialized Elements on Amazon. I enlarged the hole of the lid liner with a scissors to accommodate the thicker pump mechanism of the Honey Pump and attached the extension tube included with the pump. It reaches almost to the bottom of a pint size mason jar. Still need to find a longer food-grade extension tube to use with quart size jars.I have been using slow steady pressure when pumping the honey with pauses in between each pump to allow it time to fully extend again. So far it has been working beautifully.Update (5/28/2019)... The pump still works perfectly pumping out a measured teaspoon with each full pump. Finally found the correct silicone tubing size on Amazon (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07J1SP1CV) to extend the pumps reach to the bottom of a quart size mason jar.

Works great. I added a short tube to the pickup ...
Works great. I added a short tube to the pickup pipe so that I could use this in a quart jar. I bored a hole in a jar lid (not a 2 piece) and screwed the pump onto it. This allows me to use the pump for my local honey that buy in quart jars. Just screw the pump onto your jar of honey and you're good to go-no mess and no drips. Just a measured amount of honey. I think these guys ought to offer a predrilled lids and tubes for mason jars. Would probably sell more pumps.

No good.
Pump stopped working on second bottle of honey. Great idea but poor quality.

Not as good as I'd hoped
This product is just okay. I thought the pump came with the jar and I could just fill the jar up with a honey of my choice. The pump came on its own ie no jar. So I then purchased a jar of THEIR honey (pretty expensive and honey was not that great). The pump works good with THEIR honey, but can be a bit tricky if you use another brand of honey that you pour into THEIR jar. I think THEIR honey is more "runny" than other ones you can buy. For instance, with the honey i now have in the jar, I really have to push hard on the pump to get honey out of it. I'll keep using it for the time being and see how i go.Since writing this review the pump has stopped working altogether, so will throw it away. It might be the honey I have in there is a different consistency from "their" honey, but therefore not very practical.

Works great no dropping no messy hassle
This pump is great! Iyou can press out exactly the amount you want..from a small dot to way more..and it stops when you stop. No leaking out more or dripping. I highly recommend this. Been through one entire jar of honey, it still is great.

Much more convenient for dispensing honey than anything else I've seen. Easily adapted to fit on any size honey jar.
My GF consumes honey like water. We purchase it in gallon jars from local beekeepers to help with her allergies. Every morning, she was opening a gallon jar of honey and using two spoons to scoop and scrape the honey into her tea travel mug. The process took forever and wasted a good amount of honey, which stuck to both spoons and ended up in the sink. I bought this on Amazon, cut a hole in the gallon honey jar lid and added a MUCH longer food-safe silicone tube to extend the reach (less than $3 online). Now every morning she pumps two or three pumps of honey into her tea mug, saves a bunch of time and there is no more wasted honey. What a great idea!My suggestion to anyone buying this is (and it took my GF a while to get the hang of it): use steady moderate pressure when pressing down on the Honey Pump. If you push too hard on it, the honey's thick viscosity begins to work against you, making the pumping process much more difficult. Slow and steady wins the race.
