Fantastic Mouse for gamers
I was using a G402 and bought this as an upgrade. Money well spent. The ergonomic is spot on for indian hands (mid sized). Buttons are not intrusive or disturb when playing games. The wheel is fantastic. Uses the continuous roll like the MX Masters. When playing games like Forza or Halo, no lag observed. Solid performance. If you do not mind the cable, go or this - you will not regret.

Delightful!
I have not tested the MX 2s/3s mouse, but I find this to be the best mouse for regular and graphics work. I prefer the wired mouse because my wireless mouse keeps tripping over.

Over priced compare to its own predecessor
Ok ok.......mouse click up feels the click bumppy that disbalance your aim..... Supports only new logitech ghub....not supported old logitech gaming software(that was a gem) new logitech ghub is messy...crashes lot....sometime not opening...bla bla bla....built quality fine....mouse wire is normal rubber wire.... no brided cable given such a premium mouse....infinit scroll was best in g502 hero....idnt like this plastic light weight wheel.... pointer accuracy is poor compare to razer optical mouses..in velorant, csgo i noticed big difference in this mouse and razer mouse....useful for those who want more programmable switches...... In price point 7k+ is over priced...better option is g502 hero which is around 4k+

Not for me
- Logitech G502 X Lightforce I tried to get used to this mouse for 3 weeks but just couldn't. First time using it I realized the positioning of the buttons on the side was going to be a problem for me. I don't have massive hands or anything, but my thumb rests way too far forward to make use of the side buttons. Not sure if this has to do with my palm grip, but I did not have this issue with my previous mouse. My thumb would rest on the DPI shift button and I would click it just trying to grip or move the mouse, fortunately that button can be removed. As for the back button, my thumb rests so far forward that I would have to completely change my grip or awkwardly use the lower portion of my thumb to press it. My other grievance is with the scroll wheel and middle mouse button. Main issue is that the middle mouse button requires way too much force to click, it is ridiculous. At the same time, the left and right scroll buttons are very easy to click, so I found myself accidentally clicking the side scroll buttons while trying to use the middle mouse button which was annoying. The scroll wheel is way too clicky and has too much resistance. You can put it into infinite scroll mode, but clicking that button requires too much force and is loud. Unfortunately I will be returning this product.

Good for both general use and gaming
Lighter than G502 Hero and DeathAdder Essential. Sniper button can be detached and you can attach the included attachment for a seamless feel if you don't use the Sniper Button. Ultralight flywheel, double click proof and high resolution sensor.

Wired is cheaper and will have a longer useful life...
Mouse is good, plenty of programmable extra keys. The software GHUB is pretty intuitive and I was able to program up macros and assign to the extra mouse keys without issue (As you would expect cause this is not new/breaking technology at all....) The slide/glide pads on the bottom of the mouse are a great size, being big and as such I dont expect to see these come off as cheaper mouses with tiny glide pads do over time as the double sided adhesives start to let loose and wander. I know there are more expensive versions of this mouse with inbuilt RGB lighting etc....but really, when playing a game everyone I know has their palm right over the top of the RGB lighting hiding it...so whats the point? with regard the wireless option, I tend to steer away from lithium rechargeable battery's in PC accessories, they only last a few years at best, and for most people the failure of the battery will result in them being a bin job....(even though replacement is simple and relatively cheap) and to be honest I expect this mouse to last quite a few years beyond that. However if I had my time over Id probably look for a wireless version without the RGB... Being tethered is a bit of a pain...always having power through the USB and not needing an emergency charge is also good though!

Improves on original G502
As an owner of an original G502 for 7 years, the G502 X is a welcome improvement. Trigger button is now much more accessible as it's moved back towards thumb position slightly. Ideally Logitech would provide multiple buttons of different lengths to accomodate different hand sizes. The split between DPI buttons (G7, G8) is further back, making G7 more accessible without having to lift index finger. Top button (G9) is now elevated slightly, making this much easier to select simply by pushing down the finger that's resting on right button/scroll wheel. L/R buttons do have slightly more pre-travel than original G502, but not enough for me to notice when using the mouse. Hopefully the new opto-mechanical switches will prove more reliable than the more recent Omrom switch that have plagued Logitech mice of late (double click issues) Weight is substantially reduced compared to original G502 and mouse tracking on the G502 X is flawless. G HUB application interface is obtuse and far more difficult than it needs to be to achieve a desired outcome, but this is par for the course for peripheral manufacturers. The original G502 cable hardened over time, though this never caused me any issues in operating the mouse. It remains to be seen how durable the new plastic cable will be. The mouse functions flawlessly with a USB switch as did the original G502 (A recent Razer model would produce "Device not recognized" errors when switching between computers) Hopefully this will be my daily-driver mouse for the next 7+ years as my original G502 was.
