This was my first time trying a menstrual disc and I wasn't exactly sure what size to go for and ended up going too small. I reached out to Pixie customer services and they were lovely enough to send me a larger size.For a first time user I do really appreciate that the disc has a stem, I tried the hooking my finger over the rim and it just didn't work so this design is really helpful. The disc itself is quite soft but also feels sturdy and once it's in it is really easy to forget that it's there.The disc comes with a little bag, some feminine wipes and plant based lubricant. It's great for being on the go and is quite inconspicuous. It's really obvious that this whole set was designed with care and thoughtfulness and it's lovely to see.

After hearing about all the metals & arsenic in tampons and sanitary pads, I wanted to find a new product to use which didn't affect my hormones. After not getting along with a menstrual cup years ago - I found this disc and Its brilliant! In my personal experience, it's the perfect size, I can't feel it at all, it's easy to insert and empty. Not to mention the cute little baggy it comes with and all the necessary cleaning accessories/sachets. My only gripe is that it can leak a little when using the loo, however this is easily fixed by just pushing it up further behind your pubic bone.

I loved the mini pouch with not only the disc, but also so my other essentials. Unfortunately it is leaking even when it is not full.

I couldn’t work out how to remove it without getting blood all over my hands but Pixie swapped it for a cup which I use normally and they do a really good size small cup so perfect!

I have a pessary to support prolapse (1 child, c-section) and can no-longer use a menstrual cup as a result so thought I would try a dish instead.Rather than trying to place the dish under my cervix I'm having to place it 'around' the pessary which actually works OK. I have had some leaks but as I have a light flow this doesn't present an issue and isn't really any different to an improperly placed menstrual cup. This is also most likely due to the fact I'm using it with a pessary and/or prolapse.The reason for only 4 stars is I would prefer the edgers to be a little stiffer to make insertion and positioning easier. I found it folds a little too easily which makes it a little tricky to maneuver. Otherwise a great product!
