A good kids game
A good kids game, but a little pricey.

Ok for a 3 yr old with modifications
The game as intended is ok. We play with our solar system obsessed 3 year old grandson. To simplify it, we use a die and roll to go around the planets and asteroids. Gives him practice counting and moving a game piece. Makes for fast games. Might try the real game when he’s older.

Great game for little kids!
We are a board game family, and I've been on the hunt for toddler/preschool level board games as our younger kids are starting to reach an age able to play them. I was very excited to find this game as our toddler loves outer space. The design and graphics of the board, tokens, and cards are really wonderful. Clear, colorful, and all-around adorable. The board is easy to read and follow along, although if everyone is having similar luck on the card draws, it can get pretty crowded on some of the spaces. The instructions were very simple and easy to understand. It took our almost 4-year-old about 1 or 2 rounds to completely understand the game and take his turns with little to no assistance. This is great as he's at the stage where he wants to be involved but also independent. The only real issue we came across was a disagreement on how one of the rules should be interpreted. You can use a shield token to protect yourself from a space card obstacle. Half the group read this as if the space card shows you moving "0" spaces, this is an obstacle blocking you and you can move a token. The other half thinks any space card is an obstacle, even if it allows you to move, you should be able to play a shield to move the number of space on your fuel card if it benefits you. Not a game-breaker, but definitely ambiguous and the group should decide one way or the other prior to the start of the game. Overall, we really loved the game. Our toddler had a blast, we loved that it had an equal amount of luck mixed with strategy so that he can't be out-strategized by the older kids or adults in the house, making it fun for everyone. Definitely recommend as a quick fun play that promises hours of replayability.

Fun but lacking in choice
My 5yo kids really enjoyed this board game. It’s a competitive game, the winner is the first one to make it around the solar system and back to the beginning. Each player has a “hand” of cards representing 1, 2, or 3 fuel, and each player chooses a card and places it facedown. Then a card is drawn from the Space deck, which determines what those cards will do. Sometimes a 2 will move a player 4 spaces, while 1 and 3 stay still, other times 3 will move 3 and 1 and 2 will move 1. It’s essentially random, which eliminates pretty much aspect of strategy while still providing the illusion of choice. The only real choice that a player can make is when to use their shield token, which allows you to ignore the Space card and just move the number of fuel you chose. This game plays quickly, and is excellent for teaching taking turns, counting spaces, holding a secret hand (we’re still working on this…), and interpreting the meaning of two cards together. I wish it allowed for more strategy on the part of the players, but until my kids wise up to the fact that the winner is determined entirely by chance, they’ll enjoy it.

Cute
I like when my kids play games because it so much better than staring at a screen. This was a very fun game for my kids. They really enjoyed it. It kept their interest. I really like that it gets them playing with others. It is great for them to play with each other or with us. We like to have family game nights. This game wasn’t too hard for them to learn. The quality was very good. It held together fine. I really think it’s a lot of fun for them. I also like to give games as gifts. I would recommend this one.

Received Delivery Notification But No Product Arrived
This could be really cool, but I wouldn't know ... I received a delivery notice that the package was placed "in a safe place" at 10:21 PM - with no photo. There was also no package anywhere at my home or mailbox.

Fun, easy-to-play game for younger kids
This is a really fun alternative to the classic games marketed for younger children. This is intended for kids age 4 and up, but I played it with my 3 year-old nephews and they had lots of fun. There is no need for reading, and the entire game takes anywhere from 10-30 minutes to play, so you can - theoretically - play several rounds in one sitting. This is a story-driven game, the winner is the first one who completes their trip around the galaxy, so you can really customize the narrative to suit the children playing. The game board and cards are colorful and engaging, and the instructions are easy to follow. I highly recommend this game if you are looking for something new to play that fosters a love of science and technology without using a computer or smartphone.
