I didn't drink tap water cos it tasted weird and I had to put juice in to take away the funny taste. This is marvellous. It takes the weird taste out of the water and because it fits in the fridge door it's always chilled and refreshing. My husband swore by bottled water but now he drinks this when he's in the house. There are plenty of filters and I just put a fresh one in when it starts to have the weird tap taste again. I've saved loads on bottled water. It's easy to refill, just stick it under the tap or use a jug.

I guess I'm like everyone else nowadays with a 'keen eye for a bargain'... When I saw this filter from a brand I already trusted, on offer at just over £19, complete with 6 months worth of filters, then I jumped at it... It fits beautifully in my standard sized fridge door with enough space to fit a large 6 pint container of milk. by its side. I've heard people say water filters are a waste of money. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I live in a 'hard water' area and had to throw away a kettle that was so scaled up that it took ages to boil... Since using filtered water in my kettle the inside is as good as new and boils quickly... Have you ever seen your smart meter when you boil a kettle?... Now multiply that by how many times you use a kettle every day and it's a 'no-brainer' that you are saving a lot of energy and money... Then you compare the taste of filtered water v's tap... Simply no comparison... Tea/Coffee/Squash all taste better... My family no longer buy bottled water when they are away from home... filtered is as good as bottled... this is another MASSIVE saving... Use filtered water to make your ice cubes... they come out crystal clear... a must if you enjoy a whisky 'on the rocks'... If you've read this far, you've probably gathered that I'm a big fan of this filter, and filtered water in general... I am... Do yourself a favour and get one...

I wanted a second filter jug to use outside of the fridge for filling kettles etc to minimise energy costs. I liked the size of this jug and the ease of filling it. Its nice to look at and fits into fridge doors easily. It is so easy to fill just by holding it under the tap, no flaps to lift. I received 6 filters with the jug I purchased which is fantastic value for money. The filters allow the water to flow quickly into the jug which is great, no need to stand around waiting, but the quick flow makes it easy to over fill the jug. I have given 4 stars because the jug cannot be filled to 2.8 litres without it pouring unfiltered water alongside the filtered water into your glass. Other reviewers mentioned this overflowing this issue, which is an issue if 2.8 ltrs of water is placed in the jug. I decided that for my needs, ie using it outside of the fridge I was happy to limit the amount of water to the amount that fills the white fill compartment which is less than 2.8 ltrs that the jug could hold. I can still have spillage if I’m pouring into a narrow necked bottle. I haven’t returned this item as I am ok with its limitations because of its ease of use and it meets my needs. I can’t actually hold a 2.8ltr jug it’s too heavy to carry without spilling.

The jug is size 3 liters, the filter can be easily changed. the filter is really good for 1 month. the quality of the water is better and it can be felt that it is finer. No leaking.Ease of intalacion. Functionality fits comfortably on the table, stable and high quality. Functionality

Filter function was very good. Water quality was also very good.

These filters are pretty good, water is clear and tastes crisp and fresh, however it comes as a really close second to Brita filters and taste. The jug however is a bit naff. It has the space for the filter replacement timer, but there's nothing there. The jug also leaks easily as you put it back in the fridge door. The only good thing about it is the lidless door for refilling. Overall a good deal, but I'll be using the filters in my Brita jug for now.

Il me fallait une nouvelle carafe filtrante car mon ancienne Brita était défectueuse et le coût des cartouches était à des prix exorbitants. Je me suis orienté sur ce modèle car le système d'accroche de ladite cartouche me semblait bien plus facile que le poussoir de la marque Brita. je suis pleinement satisfait de cette marque le passage de l'eau et bien plus rapide, le résultat en filtration fantastique je recommande vivement en plus excellent rapport qualité prix quantité du nombre de cartouche, le seul point négatif c'est que la carafe n'est pas pourvu d'un conteur visuel de l'usure de la cartouche mais bon je pinaille.vous pouvez acheter les yeux fermés merci encore à Amazon pour ça rapidité d'envoie.

I've been using this filter for several months now to filter the hard water from my tap. The filtered water is smooth and it makes a huge difference - my tap water is unpleasant and I always bought bottled water instead. It filters water fast and doesn't need to be filled up so often due to its capacity. I haven't even changed out the filter yet after 3 months because I haven't noticed a difference in water quality. Aqua Optima claims that the filters do not release impurities back into the water..ever.. which I cannot test, but if true, there would be no downside to using these filters until they stop working. So the 6x filter back could last me years. Note that this is also because the filters do not filter bacteria. I think this is a good thing, because it prevents bacteria from building up in the filter and allows to be used longer than 2 weeks. If you're specifically looking to get rid of viruses and bacteria, you'll have to look elsewhere. For hard water, look no further.
