Yes. This motor takes about 3100 watts it is also 3 phase so you would need a three phase generator as well. Finding motor wattage is easy. Take the motors amp rating in this case 13.42 and multiply by your voltage using 230v or whatever you are running for voltage. 13.42 x 230 = 3086watts
