Love this GPX Portable Cassette Player, it plays just as good as my old walkman did, good sound and quality. Arrived in 1 day. Being a senior citizen on a budget it was well worth the money. Very reasonably priced.

It works well. I have numerous 50 year old cassettes, family talking, not music, and the voice clarity is great. I recommend this.

It’s a really good product for the price. The audio quality of the radio and of the cassette playback was levels above what I thought it would be for the price.My only issue is that it can’t record any audio my my cassettes. I don’t know if it’s because I’m not using a specific type of tape but it just doesn’t work with my Sony HF-90s.But on the bright side the playback is amazing for the price.TLDR: audio quality is amazing but the recorder seemingly doesn’t work.

Do not purchase this so called cassette player. The max volume is horrible. This tape player plays the cassette faster than normal. Altogether the minute, I put batteries in it and put a tape in it. I was very upset. I didn’t want to give it any stars, but I had to at least put One to post this review. I’m very easy when it comes to stuff I purchased and I normally don’t give bad reviews, but I don’t want you to purchase this !DO NOT PURCHASE, look elsewhere.

I am enjoying this device despite the fact it ate one of my cassettes and nearly ate another one which I was able to remove and rewind into the casing without it breaking. The device is sturdy the sound through the ear buds they came with is good(even if the earbuds are a older style that are a little awkward in the ear). The built in speaker is serviceable. I would not buy this if you only want to play the radio; the radio controls are a little finicky but that is to be expected with a device of this size; I bought this to listen to my cassette tapes and it is good at that. I can't get the recorder function to work; it is locked up. I love its construction and it sounds good but I can't give it a 5 because it ate my Kate Bush cassette and that is a freakin crime.

This thing is really really lo-fi, and if that’s what you’re looking for, then it’s a steal. If it will last. The recording function through the onboard mic and then coming through the little speaker was the sound I was looking for. Definitely not as sturdy as the ones I used to have “back in the day”, but the on the fly recording capabilities of these things is always fun. The first one they sent me was defective, but they remedied that and sent another one right away.

Good product it's working as expected

Ado durant les années 80, et ayant malheureusement perdu (volé peut-être) mon bon vieux Walkman Sony, je suis très heureux de retrouver ce feeling de réécouter mes bonnes vieilles cassettes chez moi ou dans la rue, mon nouveau Walkman accroché à la ceinture comme avant.Excellent produit, made in Germany, qualité sonore impeccable, et surtout, il possède la pince pour l'accrocher à la ceinture. Incroyable que tous les autres modèles dispos aient "oublié" cet accessoire pourtant indispensable pour les personnes des 80's !5 ⭐

I have bought this radio as I had another one I did not open until the end of December. I cannot record on it. The record button won't go down. It is useless.

I bought it about a week ago, it doesn’t work after 4days i bought. Radio went out of control especially. I don’t recommend this one. Just buy more expensive one plz
