Straight out the box this was very easy to set up and user friendly. Currently using it with thee Virgin media hub set to modem and directly connected to one deco unit wired with the cable provided in the box, compatibility was no issue. This single deco unit when turned on wi fi coverage already had a huge boost to areas the hub wasn't reaching. Once set up wifi named adding the second deco unit was only a matter of plugging it in. The performance far exceeded my expectations and now upstairs where I could barely get a signal im getting my full broadband speed as if I was plugged in wired right next to the hub. The signal quality remains strong and steady. Highly recommend.

I ordered a pair of TP-Link Deco XE75's. Ordered from Amazon at 10am, arrived the SAME day at 7pm... This is how I got on.... Opened the box, pulled the units out. I downloaded the app by scanning the QR code in the "Quick Start" guide, fired it up and went through the procedure. Ensure you have data coverage for the mobile you are running the TP Link app on. Unplug the BT router and plug in the ethernet cable from the Openreach box into the Deco RJ45 port. The app will find the Deco, run a "wizard" to get you connected to your ISP, all I needed was the BT username and password (Googled it) and after 5 minutes, we were in business. Configured the SSID, password, and did a speed test. All good so far. I went up to the 3rd floor of the house, plugged in the second Deco, waited for 2 minutes, done. I'm getting 490Mbps next to the Deco downstairs. 150 in the room next to it which used to be 20! 250 in the kitchen which was 50. Upstairs, I'm seeing 160-200MBps, it was, wait for it......... <=20Mbps. Am I happy I spent the money? No. Am I pleased with the performance, ease of set-up and stability? YES! Moral of the story here? If you want whole home coverage, and have a house that is not made from straw and sticks, and your current BT kit isn't cutting it, buy some Decos. I allowed BT 3 chances to fix the issues and they either wouldn't, couldn't or just hoped I'd go away and fix it at my own expense/time. Which I have.

These have been great and have completely eliminated dead-spots in my home. I use the 2.5G ports as a wired backhaul between the two units and the performance of the secondary unit is just ad good as the primary. I also purchased a third which is connected to the main unit via wireless - this also has great performance (about 70% the speed of the main unit with 2 thick brick walls between them) Roaming between devices is seamless and I haven’t noticed any disconnections/ inconsistencies when moving around the house. I have a gigabit internet package, and get full gig speeds when using wifi 6E devices. Other devices get around 600-800mb. The app is easy to use, but i wish it had some more advanced functionality- i can overlook that due to the price and performance. Very stable, great speeds, I fully recommend these routers.

Avoid the TP-Link Deco XE75 Pro - Utterly unreliable junk. The Deco XE75 Pro can’t even manage the basic job of staying connected — constant red lights, factory resets that solve nothing, and endless wasted hours despite a rock-solid broadband line. My DrayTek modem proves the ISP is fine; the Deco is the weak link. I regret investing in the TP-Link Deco XE75 Pro. My broadband line (FTTC, via Rebel Internet) works perfectly when tested directly with my DrayTek modem and even with a PC login — yet the Deco repeatedly fails to make or hold a connection. The system ran fine for a short while, then suddenly collapsed: the main unit turned red, killing all connectivity. Factory resets, careful re-entry of ISP credentials, and VLAN settings made no difference. Each reset is an ordeal, and even when it seems fixed, the issue returns. This isn’t a line fault. My ISP and modem confirm the connection is solid. The problem lies squarely with the Deco. Basic reliability is the bare minimum one should expect from a router, but this product can’t even maintain that. I’ve since learned my experience is far from unique: users across forums report red-light failures, loss of internet despite healthy lines, and the need for constant resets. That makes this less a one-off fault and more a systemic weakness in the product. A router should provide stability and confidence. The Deco XE75 Pro delivers the opposite: fragility, wasted hours of troubleshooting, and a network that collapses without warning. I cannot recommend it — if reliability matters to you, look elsewhere.

After years of relying on Netgear Orbi RBR50/RBS50, I decided to switch to TP-Link Deco XE75 Pro, hoping for better value and strong connectivity. On paper, this Wi-Fi 6E mesh system boasts excellent coverage, fast speeds, and AI-driven optimisation, but after real-world testing, it didn’t quite deliver the seamless experience I expected. 🛠 Setup & First Impressions Setting up the Deco XE75 Pro was incredibly easy—just unpack, plug in power and Ethernet, and complete the setup through the app. In about 10 minutes, everything was up and running. ✔️ Packaging and presentation were excellent—a polished, well-built product. ✔️ Wi-Fi speeds impressed me initially—I could max out my 400Mbps connection on my Google Pixel 7 Pro. ✔️ The app is clean and easy to navigate, but hides advanced settings compared to Netgear Orbi’s interface. However, there were immediate frustrations: ❌ Limited configuration options—the system only operates in Router or Access Point mode, restricting customisation of individual services like DHCP alerts. ❌ No way to separate 2.4GHz and 5GHz SSIDs—which potentially led to connectivity issues with my IoT devices that worked flawlessly on Orbi’s identical SSID setup. 📡 Performance & Connectivity Issues While signal strength and speeds were solid, actual device compatibility was inconsistent. ✔️ When connected, speeds were fantastic—low latency, strong signal, no dead zones. ✔️ Wi-Fi 6E provided a noticeable boost, especially for high-bandwidth applications. ✔️ AI-driven optimisation seems to improve stability for mobile devices. But… ❌ Only ONE port per unit is actually 2.5Gbps—all other LAN ports remain 1Gbps, significantly limiting wired backhaul potential. ❌ This is NOT clearly advertised, making the upgrade far less valuable than expected. Great wifi signal and coverage. User friendly app and super easy to set up the system. A bit pricy though.

Parfait pour les personnes ayant de la superficie, ou même un ou des étages. J’en ai placé un à chaque étage et cela suffit largement pour avoir du wifi partout et surtout un bon débit. Seul bémols, prise britannique, donc non compatible avec les françaises. Penser à acheter un adaptateur.

This is Wi-Fi 6E and it’s a fantastic product. However Amazon did not state that this is a version 1 which is supplied with 1x2.5g and 2x1g Ethernet. The version 2 comes with 1x2.5 and 2x2g Ethernet. I would have given it 5 star if Amazon comes clean on the version which I is supplying.

Je cherchais à remplacer le wifi de ma livebox 6 orange wifi 6e. Les débits sont excellents avec (parfois au dessus du 1Gb/s avec un device compatible wifi 6e) mais je commence à avoir trop d'appareils chez moi (maison de 140m2 sur 2 étages, plus d'une 30aine de devices) et parfois la box d'orange a du mal à m'octroyer assez de bande passante pour le travail. Choix du système tp-link pour le réseau maillé. Première déception: impossible d'avoir le même SSID pour le wifi 6e, 5 et 2,4Ghz donc on ne voit pas sur le même réseau à partir d'un device en wifi 6e une imprimante raccordé en 2,4Ghz, alors que la box d'orange le fait très bien. Seconde déception: la compatibilité wifi 6 et 6e. Seul un device compatible wifi 6E peut profiter des début suppérieurs, sinon lock à 5Ghz. Mon iphone 13 pro est wifi 6 mais pas 6E, donc reste bloqué à environ 500Mb/s là où il monte à 700Mb/s avec la livebox 6. Troisième déception: le débit max en wifi 6e à 1m de distance de chacun des satellites. Grand max 700Mb/s même avec blackhaul cablé en ethernet et paramètres ajustés dans l'appli tp-link. Parfois 1.1Gb/s dans les mêmes conditions avec la livebox 6. Quatrième déception: la portée. Au delà de 6m, on tombe rapidement dans la bande 2,4Ghz et les débit s'écroulent. De plus la latence de changmenent d'un satellite mesh à l'autre est importante (> 1minute) il vaut mieux déco reco le wifi en se balladant avec son ordi dans la maison, ça va plus vite. Dernier mauvais point: même avec 2 devices connectés, le débit s'effondre parfois sans raison, sans avoir changé de spot... Bref: débits peu importants en download ou upload, portée trop faible, latences dans le maillage, prix trop élevé. Je lorgnais les asus ET12 ou XT12 encore 2fois plus cher mais les retours sont parfois équivalents à ce kit tp-link. La solution pour moi ça aura été routeur connecté avec la livebox à 2 répéteur tp-link r700x à l'étage, 85€ chacun, et ça marche aussi bien sans déco que la livebox 6 avec une plus grande fiabilité.

I expect it to made clear when you purchase from Amazon.com.au the electronic item had a UK power plug.The item was the older version there was no mention of the version in the specs.I was inconvenienced and disappointed with purchase. I contacted the manufacturer and that was a unsatisfactory outcome.

Ces routeurs sont une bonne solution si vous n’avez pas de réseau câblé à travers votre mur, je suis passé d’une connexion 1Gb limité à 100Mb dans mon bureau à l’étage, à environ 750Mb en moyenne, avec une faible latence, les deux Deco liés en Backhaul Wifi 6Ghz dédié, J’ai aussi éliminé la congestion due aux nombre important de device connecté, sachant que la dernière MAJ apporte de nouvelles fonctionnalités, surtout avec le réseau IoT isolé, Sinon les débits sont excellents, capture à l’appui avec un iPhone 13 Pro Max, contrairement à d’autres commentaires, ça marche très bien, il faut juste laisser un peu de temps au routeur de bien démarrer et stabiliser, Le seul défaut que je trouve pour le moment, c’est que pour une raison que j’ignore jusqu’à maintenant, la vitesse d’upload de mon NAS est limitée à 120Mb en liaison câblé sur le port 2.5Gb, contre un bon 400Mb en wifi sur mon téléphone sur le même Deco. Le modèle de cette offre dispose de la prise type G anglaise. Surprise, j’ai eu le X75 Pro V2 Je recommande cette solution.
