This is a great diamond coated sharpener with one small.problem. It is fine to carry attached to a knife sheath with your military survival knife or combat blade. It works better then a honing stone. But selling it for use in gardening tools, machetes, etc is a bit of a stretch.. When trying to sharpen a machete you need to wear a glove. A hole in the stone for a lanyard would be great as you can hang it on your belt on your knife, machete, scythe, or axe. It would be great to have this design and material on a larger hone. Several sizes of hones would be much better for garden, combat or survival use. It works fine on pocket underneath knives but you risk getting badly cut on a larger blade. The metal gloves used by processors in commercial fish factories would be a good idea. t

My crew prefers this sharpener over all others. You get what you pay for.

I hesitated getting this for awhile because it is a bit expensive for a small sharpening stone. However, after finally purchasing it, I have to say it performs even better than I expected. I used it immediately on my pruning shears, and after only a couple passes, they were extremely sharp. I then used it on a few other garden tools, and even on a few scissors, and it made a noticeable difference on all of them. Very glad I finally gave it a try.

So simple, but it works very well. Follow the easy instructions & enjoy the sharp shears you remember when your Felco was new.

Efficient sharpening, compact to keep in a small pocket.

Seit einem Jahr im Einsatz und nicht mehr wegzudenken. Meine Gartenscheren lassen sich damit schnell und unkompliziert schärfen und schneiden danach wie neu. Robust, handlich und absolut empfehlenswert! Nach getanem Schnittwerk ein kühles Getränk und den Stein ein wenig über die Scheren gleiten lassen – das ist inzwischen ein kleines Ritual :)
