I tried these as hold-downs on my new all terrain cart (also from Amazon) after a bungee net type didn't fit dimensionally. The quality seems good. Nice hooks. Smooth flat elastic banding. The stretch is moderate in strength. They're hold-downs not tie-downs. The adjustability is a nice feature even though I use them at full length. They are easy to store and keep out of the way by wrapping them around the frame tubing. I'm considering a second set for packages in the back seat of my truck. The photo is a partially unpacked load from my last trail repair trip. Recommended.

These are good, a bargain for the money. Good bungees. I bought these to insert into 1" tubular webbing to make safety tethers for my PFDs (life jackets) for on my boat. These are just a hair under 3/4" and slide easily into the 1" webbing. The full length of these straps pulls at about 7pounds. They also stretch double their length. Cutting off the ends results in 45", I only need half of this for my deck tethers. This means I can have a 48" tether that shortens itself to about half that length. This keeps it out of the way when not being used and gives some shock absorption in a stumble. (I won't use a DIY tether for safety high up. It's not rated.) So a 48" tether squeezes to abo0ut 25" which doubles up when the clip is attached to my PFD loop, So it only hangs down about 15". Great solution. I could not find a source for 3/4" flat bungees. These are actually much less expensive than any of the bulk length material I could find. Good deal. There are heavier blue flat bungees that are 7/8". These pull at 10 pounds, but don't seem to retract as much. Instead of almost 2:1 the blue 7/8" bungee/ 1"nylon tubular webbing retract about 1.5:1 (so 36" down to 22")

I like that you can adjust the length - good quality. I just use it for holding a cover around my lawn mower, but they are substantial enough for harder use.

Had higher hopes. The adjustable buckle takes working at to slide the bungee. Was expecting to be able to adjust on the fly and in rapid manner. Takes a minute to work the bungee thru the buckle. Not a time saver for me. Rubber bungee, IMO, flimsy, not “robust” and “tough” like description. I would call these for light duty items and not for temporarily strapping down some lumber on the roof rack.

We bought these to hook around our tarp. They work great. They are really stretchable and a good value. I use them for hanging planters, bunging our chairs together for storage. There are many uses for them. You can hook them together to make them longer if you need to.
