I purchased my VariDesk spring of 2018 for use in my home office. I was hesitant initially due to this product’s price but after *extensive reviews* of alternatives and even *testing out cheaper alternatives* of my neighbor and of a friend, I decided VariDesk to be my best bet, as I’m in this for the long haul and didn’t want to deal with product instability or breakage. I also didn’t want to worry that my employer-issued equipment would take a damaging tumble to the ground as a result of desk failure. This is one of my BEST lifetime purchases EVER. Five plus years of use and I’m yet telling coworkers to purchase their own. Love, love, love my VariDesk. I have NEVER sat at my desk since VariDesk entered my home office (I telework full time). I appreciate that I’m able to quickly stretch my aging body immediately without a clunky chair to push aside (touch my toes or do lunges as my computer security updates, drop to my floor to foam roll between calls, or dash to door in order to grab an Amazon delivery as my next virtual meeting cues up). My back (degenerative discs) and hips (arthritis) no longer are achy from the once chair-confined immobility of my 10 hour workday. During my workdays I even eat standing at this desk (sure, I could use the table in my adjacent dining room, but why would I want to sit when the freedom of mobility feels this good to my spine?!). The VariDesk is solid, raises and lowers without incident, and holds nicely my dual monitors, laptop computer, docking station, keyboard, phone, and beverages, all the while providing me with ample space for paper and pen note taking if needed. I’ve no complaints or suggestions for improvement on this product. None. Game changing product that I’ve benefited greatly from owning.

Its great

I really enjoy having my varidesk. It's just the right size for my desk, and comes up to a perfect height for me. It's very stable, no shaking at all when I'm typing. The keyboard tray is very large, plenty big enough for a keyboard and a mouse and mousepad with space to spare. I also really like the fact that the keyboard tray pulls in and out, so I can put it wherever I need to for what I'm working on. Bringing it up and down is easy and smooth, no matter what I have on top of it. I also really want to say that Vari is a great vendor. When I received my varidesk the box was broken open and there was cracked plastic on both legs, though it was still functional. Our fedex people are terrible and it was pretty obvious this had happened in transit. I contacted Vari and told them about the broken plastic. They asked for pictures and I provided them. They then ordered me a new desk and told me they were shipping it with extra packaging. It arrived in perfect condition this time (despite fedex's best efforts!), and all I had to do was put the broken one in the new box and tape it up. I let Vari know it was ready to go and they scheduled a pickup at my house for fedex to get the varidesk and return it. Easy and no stress, and they were very nice and helpful the whole time. I really appreciate the great customer service and the ease of being able to switch out a really expensive tool!

I have recently been having trouble sitting for extended periods of time. I’ve thought about using a standing desk in the past, but my work space has a built in countertop. A lot of these type of units require more than 24” depth for the table top. This fits perfectly. I use dual 28” monitors, and this makes it pretty easy to raise and lower. It’s a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for in build quality. I highly recommend giving this a try.

Terrible design. The keyboard is so flimsy and doesn't pull out all the way. I tried to use the product support option and only gives me options for a computer not working.

Now I can stand instead of sitting and my desk at work... Well packed, shipped fast, very sturdy & like the accessory's that come with it. Have had for 6 months now & still working great!!!

Best stand up desk ever! Lots of room for my 2 monitors, notebooks, etc. much cheaper then ergotron brand. Already assembled. Put monitors on stand then when you push down it will be easy.

Like the size. Works as indicated it should. Only problem is that it was sold as new but looks like it has been well used and base cover is broken. Would have given it a 5 if it didn't look like a secondhand item.
