Nice Padded Bag and holds a 40" telescope and accessories
The media could not be loaded. This is a nice carry case for my 40-inch telescope. My telescope has app for locating planets and stars and so there is a large attachment piece for the phone to attach to the scope. My telescope also has a very sturdy tripod that is large, and the bag is long enough and wide enough to put all the accessories and the telescope in the bag easily with room to add extra lenses or other add-ons. There is a set of padding sections to separate the scope from the tripod so there is no hard bumping against each other and there is a nice, padded bottom of the bag. The straps for the scope and tripod are easy to maneuver. A good telescope is not cheap and so on my budget I could not afford the $100 for most bags then I found this and I was thrilled to able to afford to buy this one and I am completely impressed with the quality of this bag from the fabric, padding, zippers and handles. I think this carrying case will last a very long time for me.

Excellent Bag!
Excellent bag! I bought this bag to hold my Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer GTi Mount Kit, which includes a sturdy tripod and counterweights. For additional protection, the mount is inside an Aptura bag, which fits easily into the main bag. Depending on what I'm doing, there's plenty of room for any of the cameras and scopes that I'm using, so everything can be stored and carried together. Having this setup makes it easy to grab and go when the skies are clear and the mood strikes. Great purchase!

Great telescope bag at a fantastic price
We bought this bag for our new Celestron Nexstar 130SLT. The bag is very well made. The material is sturdy and has a nice feel and a lovely blue-gray color. The heavily padded bags sold by Celestron are nice, but they're super expensive and we only needed something to store the telescope and transport it in the car. This bag works well and holds the telescope, arm, tripod, and accessories. It has some small dividers included, and I'm adding some extra EVA foam around the telescope since I know we'll end up piling this bag in with our other luggage in the car. Overall quite pleased with our purchase for the price!

If you're looking, it will fit a Celestron 130SLT with tripod
We got this to fit the Celestron 130SLT along with the tripod, blindly, after not knowing for sure if it would fit. Luckily, it all fit, though it took a little Tetris action to get it all in the right way.Pros: It has a lot of room after squeezing the scope/accessories in with lots of pockets. The padding and strapping seems sturdy so far and the stitching of the entire bag seems to be of good quality. There are more than enough carrying points for the bag so you don't have to balance it a certain way to make it not cumbersome. The price for what you get is absolutely fantastic!Cons: The straps are sewn down so you have to adjust where you store the OTA and tripod, rather than just being able to put it wherever and strap down. The bag was sturdy, but not sturdy enough to actually hold open when trying to load it and it gets frustrating when you're trying to be gentle with a scope and having to fight the bag itself. That could be user error, but it was a con for me.All in all, especially after the price is factored in, this is a good bag. It fits everything I want it to, though it takes a little more finesse to get it all in there gently and quickly. There were many times I had to take everything out, reposition, then try again and that was the main reason for not giving it five stars. That being said, I would still buy it again if given the choice, knowing what I know now.

Pretty nice bag, especially for the price paid
Pretty nice bag. I was originally going to get the shorter one, but I'm glad I opted for the 40-in version. This way it'll hold my longer refractor as well as my shorter Newtonian. For the latter I can just sort of roll up the end which makes a little more cushioning, or fill the empty part at the end with stuff. The outer material is pretty nice and looks like it's going to be durable and last. The padding is not super thick - it's maybe 3/8" to 1/2" thick and kind of squishy, but it seems plenty protective. I feel confident putting this in a car and if it gets knocked around a little bit the contents will be fine. Inside there is a divider separating the two sides, and there are straps to hold down the tube and/or tripod. The two little pouches that it comes with are pretty nice but only one of them is padded. You can see the padded one holding my 2-in diagonal no problem. All in all I'm pretty happy with the purchase. The price was right and I think it was on sale for about 1/3 off when I got it. Don't hesitate if you need a relatively inexpensive bag for your scopes.
