How do i turn on the ir camera? is there a specific button i need to press? if so, where can i find it? thanks in advance.

I had the cheapest night vision goggles, binoculars as a brand above. I had to figure it out without any instruction period! All you have to do was charge first before you are able to turn it on which was the MIDDLE (front). Hope it will help you. Without paper of instruction, terrible.

Yes. It takes batteries to make it operate but does not need any extra light source
