13 Inch LED Under Cabinet Lighting, 12V 5W Ultra-Thin Plug-in Under Cabinet Light, Dimmable Warm White 3000K, CRI90 LED Under Counter Light for Kitchen, Shelf, Workbench, Cupboard

This unit has the thinnest LED strip I have ever seen, and produces rich, warm light that's as good or better than much more expensive units. It worked flawlessly the first time. Pluses: full spectrum warm tungsten-like output, very bright. Easy to install (tape is more than adequate). Dimmer works smoothly and is very linear. Wires are thin and can be stapled with a wire stapler. Great value for a low price. Minuses: Like any transformer-powered system, the bulky transformer takes up an outlet. Fortunately, it is not polarized so it can be used in either position and not impede the other outlet. There is no way to direct-wire the system. The on-off/dimmer unit is clunky and not very attractive. It's small enough to be hidden under the recess of most cabinets, bit I had to mount it on the edge of the shelf next to the light bar. Not very "finished" looking. In spite of these minuses, I still give it a 5-star rating for doing what it is designed to do extremely well. If you know the limitations going in (as I did) you will be very pleased with the value.

Update 08/20/2022: I contacted the seller and in a couple of days he replaced the unit with a new unit at no charge . That changed my view on this seller/company. With the replacement installed, and working as it should, I will support this reseller and company. I would guess this LED light had a short in the power connect or dimmer. Its a solid nice looking very bright LED I use under a shelf holding the monitors above the desk. Measuring the LUX: Low of 5. High of 5396 between 5 and 70 it is sensitive and takes a few tries to set a low level. Adjusting the brightness between 70 and the highest, was easy and smooth. All LUX readings were done from approximately 7 inches away. The change in the orange cloth color was do to exposer changes in light level. All shots are hand held. I'm a happy customer now. .......................................................................... Original Review: It looked nice. It was some what easy to install on the underside of a shelf holding two monitors on my desk. It allowed me to have a dimmable light in the dark space the shelf created. But not long after installing, it started to flicker. At first I would switch off with the switch on the power strip and it would be fine for a few hours. A month later the flicker became more problematic and eventually it started to fail to turn on at all. I see in the 1 star reviews, others have also had issues with this LED. I contacted Amazon support and learned that LEDLightsWorld offers NO warranty. Amazon support did offer a refund for my purchase cost. Considering there is NO warranty, I will NOT be purchasing from this brand again without first being assured by the seller there is a warranty on the product. Had it been in the print there was no warranty, I would NOT have purchased this light.

There is a lot to like about these lights. They are bright, the colour is pleasant, the switch is very smooth and comfortable to use. I actually used these to light up an unlighted hutch on a dresser. They do this well. What would be even better: 1. A better mounting system. I don't consider mounting tape to be a long-term solution. There are grooves along the edges which would make it easy to attach a mounting bracket. Why not include a little super cheap hardware and let the customer decide how to mount It? 2. There are micro USB ports in both ends. I got a male-male wire, but the second light would not illuminate. I had to order a micro USB splitter to run two. It would be nice if they could be daisy chained together. 3. The light is highly directional. You don't need 360° light, but I estimate that the light spreads about 30° from the source. Mine is mounted pretty high, and it still barely illuminates the entire counter. I bought a second one and mounted it on an angle so my wife can see her beautiful face in the mirror when she turns it on. I do not regret buying this. It is super thin and lightweight, but be aware of it's limitations.

Love this product! It is so slim and compact. It puts out so much light it lights up my 7 Foot by 9 foot kitchen and it dims so low as a night light. And it's a warm light like an incandescent bulb - not stark white LEDs. The control knob works precisely. I live in an apartment and I know when I have my kitchen lights on it shines into the neighbor's bedroom window. So I like this for night time use! Provides enough light to to do what I need to do without being bothersome to any neighbor. And being under the counter, it's subtle.

This LED Strip is the Perfect Solution to internally lighting my Grandfather Clock Cases. My previous GF Clock Lighting searches yielded only over-priced Curio Cabinet bulb sockets that use heat-generating incandescent bulbs, and because my 6 GF Clock's Lights will be on 24/7, I want low energy LED Lighting. This strip casts a warm gold/pink hue that enhances the natural wood colors - not the harsh blue/white office color lighting. And best of all, the integral Dimmer Control allows me to set the light level to just the right amount; not so bright so as to become harsh, and not so dim that It is barely noticeable because they serve as night-lights as I walk through the house at night. I'm now ordering 3 more to illuminate my 3 "dark" clocks...

I bought these to put under the cubby on each side of my king size bed headboard. I opened the package and immediately saw how it was all supposed to come together without the need for instructions. Very thin and lighter materials used but a far superior product. After drilling the holes in the headboard for my cable to run through (my choice to do so though I didn’t need too) I hade in installed in 5-10 minutes, and was then reading by the led lights, the dimmer knob is an awesome feature so I can still read while my wife sleeps, I read for about an hour and asked her the next day if the light kept her awake and she said no, very good product and will be buying more down the road for other spots in the house, especially my curio cabinet!

I like the light,it gives off a nice glow. And I like that it has a dimmer. I don't really like that I can't secure the light with screws, but hopefully the 3m sticky will last. The dimmer switch is big and bulky, and the light is flat and slim, seems like the manufacturer could have came up with a better design for the switch. Anyway, when I installed it I had the dimmer switch secured under the cabinet (showing); I hated it. So now I have drill holes where it was, I ran the cord inside the cabinet, to hide the cords. So I ended up putting the switch inside the cabinet, looks better. I will most likely buy more of them. Update, I have purchased more of these lights.

The light that this puts out is warm, bright and clear, however because of a poor connection the product was impossible to use, the light would constantly flicker on and off. Stuck well to bare wood. Found the cord system to be very bulky with too many connections (which would occasionally come loose, then you have to go check each one.) The dimmer is slow and awkward to turn on and off every time, taking three rotations, and is difficult to do one handed as you have to hold the whole dimmer in your palm and rotate the wheel with your thumb. Overall very frustrated and disappointed with this product. If the connection was reliable and if the outlet was controlled by a light switch, it might be useful.

Replaced an older ballast type tube light in kitchen. No longer available. Connected, up and running in less than 5 minutes! No screws.

Works perfect fory needs. The dial is pretty stiff hopefully it hold up

I only received the light, ac adapter and dimmer. No USB to custom connector to be able to connect the light to the dimmer, and no 3M tape. I contacted amazon, all they can do is making me sending back the product and get a refund since it's a third party seller, even if sent by amazon (prime). I am very disappointed with this order, I literally cannot plug the light, it is unusable and the additionnal delay to order another one is jeopardizing my project. AVOID this seller. I wrote to the seller as well, no answer back!
