KOM Cycling Wahoo Elemnt & Elemnt Bolt Out Front Handlebar Mount from Bike Mount Designed for Wahoo Elemnt & Elemnt Bolt, & Elemnt Mini

Using this with a v1 Wahoo Roam and what can I say...it's both relatively cheap (compared to K Edge or a stock Wahoo aero mount) and lightweight...32 grams compared to the stock Wahoo mount (40 grams for Roam)...the K-edge "Race" mount is the same weight and costs over $50, so this is a great value at $20. Wahoo clicks into place very solidly with this mount; hopefully this doesn't put any stress on the Wahoo's mounting tabs over time.-- do move the unit from one bike to another fairly regularly. But the fit and construction is solid (plus a marginal weight savings) so I'm pleased.

I have several bikes with varying handlebar diameters. I bought two of these. They come with two rubber shims for different bar diameters. Yesterday I rode a century with my new mount. As I was crossing a wooden plank bridge, my front wheel caught, and I flipped over the handlebars. The handlebar took a hit, but the mount did not. My Elemnt (the full-sized one, not the Bolt) was still attached. Although there was not direct impact, it is likely that my handlebar bag did hit the mount. Bottom line - the mount survived a fairly violent incident, and held the Elemnt.

Using it for years no issues at all

Solid mount, a little bit longer (meaning the Elemnt sits just a tiny bit farther out versus the Wahoo mount) so when you push a button there's the tiniest bit of deflection in this thing versus the Wahoo mount. Took it on an overnight trip on some bumpy gravel roads - no issues!

I had previously bought a KOM cycing mount exactly like this without the camera attachment and loved it. Previous to buying this mount I tried one with the camera mount that did not fit the Cycliq fly 12 as advertised. This mount does fit but it's very difficult to make fit. I could only get it on part way. My husband had to take a file and shave down inside the camera joints to make it fit in the mount piece. I think these mounts are sturdy and a great price. I have not used the bike with the camera all set up on the mount yet. If it does not perform well, I will come back and add to this review.

This Wahoo Elemnt Bolt mount is excellent! It is great that it ships with two different size spacers. The OEM unit I have on my road bike liked to slip around a bit on the handlebars so I ended up using a bit of old handlebar tape to add some thickness to keep it from spinning. The Bolt clicks firmly into position and is absolutely tighter than in the OEM mount. It takes a firm twist to get it out of the mount! These new mounts will go on the handlebars of our new ElliptiGO ARC 24 and 8C bikes.

Doesn't maintain shape after a year. In the last couple of months, maybe 6, I noticed that my Roam was not in the same position it was when the mount was new. It appears that the extension from the handlebar to the mount has twisted such that the computer face is not "flat" but pointed off to the right now. BTW, I added a light that mounts on the mount and the computer on the top of the light. the weight may be a bit much as it tends to bounce when going over bumps.

Only used it one time, and I can tell that I'm really going to like it. I love the fact that it is mounted on the right side of the stem. This gives you an option vs. the OEM mount from Wahoo, which mounts to the left of the stem. The mount seems very secure with the single screw. The quarter turn to lock the computer into place is nice as well. I think the Wahoo mount is just an eighth turn. The first time removing the Bolt from the mount was a little disconcerting, as it seemed like it wouldn't turn back out out of the mount, but a couple of times rotating in and out of the lock position and it seems fine now.

Easy to fit and Wahoo clips in easily.

It was exactly what I needed and at a reasonable price
