I love this dryer/styler!! Saves me so much time fixing my hair and I absolutely love the finish! Easy to use and change out the styling pieces. I get so many compliments on my hair. Hope it lasts a long time!

I finally pulled the trigger on the Shark FlexStyle after eyeing both this and the Dyson Airwrap for a long time, and I’m really glad I did. I’ve had it for a couple of months now, and it’s become a staple in my hair routine. I already owned a Drybar hair dryer with a round brush attachment, so I felt pretty comfortable jumping into this. One of my favorite things about the FlexStyle is the versatility—you can swap out attachments depending on what you’re trying to do, whether that’s smoothing, adding volume, or going for curls. I’ll be honest though—I’m still not perfect at using it yet. During the process, things can look a little messy while I’m styling, especially as I’m working through sections. That said, the end result always turns out good, even if it doesn’t look super polished mid-style. I think it’s more of a learning curve than an actual issue with the tool. Even with that, I still really like it and reach for it often. I’ve also struggled a bit with getting my curls and volume to fully hold, but I realized a lot of that came down to the products I was using. Once I switched things up, it definitely helped, so I think product choice plays a big role with this tool. If you’re trying to achieve that 90s blowout vibe, I actually think this is easier—and maybe even less time-consuming—than using hot rollers. That’s just my personal opinion, but it feels more streamlined once you get into a rhythm. It’s definitely a higher price point, but I do think it’s worth it if you’re going to use it regularly and this is a look you’re consistently trying to achieve. For me, it’s been a solid investment and something I reach for often.

I bought this with high expectations. It’s very easy to use and styles hair flawlessly. I noticed good frizz control and it gave me really good volume. It works best with hair rollers and pin curls. My hair doesn’t hold curls well so whenever I style my hair with the shark I always use those and the results are amazing. The attachments are all reliable and get the job done. The shark is sooooo flexible and when I say that I mean it has so many different options, like it has 3 different settings for both heat and how much air.. If that makes sense. Love it and is a way better option compared to the Dyson price wise

100/5 Stars. Incredible. I thought I was the problem all along when it came to drying my hair and it turns out it was simply the tools. I dried my thick, shoulder length hair in 2 minutes and curled it in 6 minutes. Blew me away! I promptly tossed my hair dryer, crimping iron, curling iron, straightener, curling hair brush, and blow dry brush after I finished. This tool replaced six. It was costly and 110% worth it. I’m so excited to have something so easy to use. I was scared that the curling function would be difficult to master but it was so easy and fun. I’m so excited. Don’t doubt it - this is the best tool. It is VERY loud. That will take some getting used to. Great airflow - tons of air speed and heat is less than I would have thought but feels healthy. It is very light and attachments connect and disconnect easily. Pay attention to the cool touch spots so you don’t burn yourself. Do it. It’s worth it.

Edit: I was going through my reviews to see which ones I had to update. I did return the Shark and I kept my T3. I couldn’t justify the cost of the Shark for what it was. I’m happy with my decision. I wanted really bad to like this. I cut my hair short recently because it was going to force me to take care of my hair better. I also don’t know how to curl my hair, so something that made it go the direction it needed to would’ve been so helpful. I’m going to echo what everyone else said. It is loud. And if you’re using it to curl your hair, you’re hearing that loud for a long time. The blow dryer is nice and does dry fast. It’s easy to figure out. The curling tools do not pick up my hair. I tried to do it dry before reading that it’s supposed to be towel dried. I added water to towel dry my hair and even then, it wasn’t strong enough to curl my hair at any speed. I have thick and coarse hair. I assume my hair is just too heavy? I will hold onto it for another week but will likely return it. I purchased another brand that works better and isn’t the Dyson because who is paying that much? If I change my mind on it, I’ll update my review. But so far, I’m not at all impressed. It is not worth $250.

UPDATED: After going through the troubleshooting guide on the shark site it helped with the overheating issue. It still takes forever to get my hair 100% dry with this unit, but it's a good tool to have. This product worked very well initially, but after less than a year of light use, it began overheating after just 2–3 minutes. Airflow is much weaker than when new, and the unit shuts off completely when any attachment is used, making it difficult to finish drying or styling. This was disappointing given the price and brand reputation. I otherwise liked the product and would be happy with a replacement if this issue can be resolved.

The Shark FlexStyle exceeded all of my expectations! I was a little hesitant before buying it, but after the first use, I was completely impressed. After checking with the seller if the dryer works with 240V they answered their stock is 240V. When the dryer arrived it says on the box 120V. So it is useless for me. Seller might changed the description now - however shipped knowingly the wrong product.
