What is Aware Technology? Can it be turned on/off?

Aware is a level-dependent technology that uses omni-directional microphones to allow safe sounds to actively pass through the product while blocking harmful noise. Aware volume can be turned up, down, or off from the right earcup.

Can you use Bluetooth while using Aware? Do you have to use Bluetooth to be protected?

You can use both Bluetooth and Aware at the same time. Foam ear cushions block 30 dB of noise so your hearing is always protected, even if you are not connected to Bluetooth.

What size are these earmuffs?

LINK Aware earmuffs have an adjustable headband and are designed to fit most (S-L).

What's the difference between noise-cancelling and noise-isolating?

LINK Aware is a noise-isolating ear protector, so it blocks noise with a physical barrier (earmuff) while wearing the product. Alternatively, noise-cancelling products produce an inverse sound wave to reduce noise while the product is turned on.

Can I use these at work?

LINK Aware is an EN 352 compliant hearing protector with an SNR of 30 dB and they are Bluetooth enabled for phone calls and radio communication. Please abide by the rules established by your place of employment.
