Trustworthy Hermie Sand
I absolutely love this sand. I have been using it for my hermit crabs for YEARS, and have never had any issues. It is the perfect consistency to help the crabs build their tunnels during molting, sturdy enough that it will hold the space secure for each molting crab. I also mist my tank down regularly, and this sand has kept my tank from flooding for years. The nice thing about it is that it just adapts to the moisture, I have never had ANY issues with tank flooding, mold growth, foul odor, or failed crab molting, with this sand. 100% Recommend every time! Happy crabbing !

So easy to use
Saves me so much time and stops me from having to mix the sand with coconut fiber. The crabs seem to like it, they dig in it all the time. Great for the price, probably should have bought 4 bags for my 30 galleon tank

The best sand
I bought this for my hermit crabs and it’s been amazing! The texture is just right — soft enough for them to dig and burrow, but not too fine or dusty. It holds moisture well, which is super important for keeping the humidity at the right level in their habitat. There’s no weird smell or artificial color, and it’s safe and clean right out of the bag. I mixed it with some coconut fiber for extra depth, and my crabs have been more active and happy ever since! Definitely a great product for any crab owner who wants to give their little buddies a comfortable, natural environment. I’ll be reordering for sure!

This sand is a must for hermit crabs . This is way better than beach sand for helping maintain humidity in your aquarium.
