Made a tremendous difference to my poolhouse steps
If you're installing iron balusters, don't skip the baluster shoes-they make a huge difference in the finished look. These covered the installation holes neatly and gave our staircase a much more clean, polished, professional appearance. The pieces were consistent in size, fit our flat iron balusters perfectly, and installed easily with adhesive. The black finish matched our balusters well and gave everything a seamless look. Having 72 in one pack was also convenient since we didn't have to worry about running short in the middle of the project. They're a small detail, but they really elevate the final result. If you're investing the time to update your staircase, these are definitely worth adding for that finished, custom look.

Baluster shoes are needed to cover base. Can also use at the top under the hand rail; I didn't.
Shoes fit well for 1/2" metal balusters. No issues with screws or threads. All fit and worked as expected with no metal, sharp edges. Pricing was reasonable and shipping was fast. These were necessary to give my baluster upgrade the finishing touch. I did add some rubber plugs to the screw holes. They can be found on Amazon as well, black caulk would work as well. I just didn't like the shiny, silver, screw threads showing after the screw was put in place.

Great for decorative but there is no way to tie them to the base, Therefore I cannot use them at all. I was hoping to support the balusters with these bits but they only bind to the baluster not the base.
