Worth every penny!!!
I have to say, I bought this and made a few hats. I ended up making about 30 hats for friends and family.I bought it used, and it came in just fine. Heats up decently quick, and seems to work perfectly fine without issues. So, I'd say get it. It is an actually decent machine. It's been working for 8 months so far. So, I've gotten my money's worth out of it.

Absolutely love it!
The media could not be loaded. Absolutely love it! It is extremely easy to use, very light and small, which makes it easy to store. Additionally, it looks very cute. The display is very nice and easy to set up. It applies good pressure, at least for vinyl application. I haven't tried it yet with sublimation. I have never done hats before and this machine made it very easy. They came out great! Totally worth it!

It works. Decent for the money. Better than an iron.
It works. If you watch any reviews, they are all telling the truth. I wanted something faster and better than an iron. IT does that. I made up some cushion out of foam board to compensate for the lack of padding in the middle. I used 4 layers after it squishes down a bit it's pretty good. I would like to see the lower platen be able to be lowered a bit. The top is all the way as far loose as it can be and I think it's too tight. But for the price, it'll work for now.

Easy operation
Perfect for pressing hats. Heat is strong and pad covers what I need. Tensioner is a perfect part of this machine to keep the material stretched you’re pressing on.

Great hat press
I bought this press to expand my small business. It works great on the baseball hats I have made. It has an adjustable heat level and timer.

Great Hat Press- tape and sheet also needed
Works great! This was my first time using something like this, but I was pleased. Make sure you also purchase heat resistant tape to hold the patch in place while pressing, and the heat resistant teflon sheet that you place between the hat/patch and the top of the press. Not purchasing these items when I initially purchase the press slowed down my project.

Awful hat press
I cheaped out and got this hat press for my business, hoping to save some money instead of buying a professional press. In this case, I definitely got what I paid for. I learned my lesson, and thankfully did so within the return window. This hat press simply sucks. Compared to the temperature readout on the screen, the temperature is nearly 20 degrees lower on the right side and an additional 8-14 degrees lower than that on the left side (I tested it with a temperature gun). Being so off from the screen and so off from one side to the other means you get low-quality, inconsistent results. The pressure knob is basically useless. It goes from barely any pressure to a maximum of slightly more than barely any pressure. It took me an average of 4-5 15-second presses set at 360 degrees to get small DTF transfers to stick. The DTF transfer requires only one 15-second press at 310, which I’ve achieved no problem on shirts with my professional heat press. It’s also so light weight that I had to put it on a non-stick pad so it didn’t move around all over my table when I tried to pull the arm up and down. And it makes a constant clicking noise when it’s on, which my shirt press has never done.
