This is the recomended oil for newer Generac products.
Item is as described however I don't understand the high cost when compared to other premium synthetic products. It is low ash based on independent testing but there are other products out there with similar or better results for much less money.

Recommended by the manufacturer!
It's what the manufacturer prefers for their generator and I suspect there's good reason. I like synthetic oils and have very good experience with them in my cars, plane, and other 4 cycle engines. I don't expect this to be any different. Product was just like it looked in the pictures, and was the exact amount I needed for my generator. Generator is happy, manufacturer is happy ... all wins!
