Avengers Marvel Legends Full Scale Iron Man Electronic Helmet

I don't normally post reviews too often but felt I should as there seems to be some (in my opinion) unfair reviews of this product. This is a quality reproduction of the Iron Man helmet from the Avengers films. It is a plastic helmet which to be fair is well made, granted you wouldn't want to drop it on the floor as it will probably break, but none the less it is still pretty sturdy. the helmet has a variety of adjustment points to allow it to fit most heads (I have a small head so luckily I can just put it on without any problems and it fits snugly). The eyes light up at the touch of a button under the chin, and do so with a cool power up sound effect. Be aware that when the eyes are lit up you can't really see anything out of the face plate. Speaking of which, the face plate if detachable from the rest of the helmet, it is held in place by surprisingly strong magnets and can take some effort to get off, when you do take it off, again you get a nice sound effect of Iron Mans mask raising. The paint job is both one of the best aspects and the worst of the helmet. The best - the paint job makes the helmet look fantastic, the quality of the red and gold is perfect and makes the helmet not too shiny and also not too dull, they have properly achieved the iron man look from the movies (later movies – Avengers onwards), people mistakenly think that the gold should be really shiny, this is not the case, it should have a matt look to it. The worst - It scratches easily - ignoring the fact that there may be some minor imperfections (an unfortunate consequence of mass production) such as minor paint run, chips, my helmet had some, which no-one else noticed but I did. The paint can scratch easily, which, if you want to put the helmet into the 'open' position means you need to be more careful than you think you should due to the magnets (in the back of the face plate section) having sharp edges and therefore damaging that beautiful paintwork, they should have made the paint much, much harder wearing. Other reviews have stated that this product is worth no more than £40. I disagree, you just need to know what your buying, in order to purchase proper professional looking FX replicas you will pay 3x the price being offered here by Hasbro. This is an attempt to give people the opportunity to buy a realistic Iron Man helmet at an 'affordable price' for £40 you wouldn't even be able to get a helmet that covered your whole head, you'd get a 'mask' Please also bear in mind, this is not a toy (even though it is made by a toy company) it is really for either display purposes or cosplay, if you put this in the hands of children it Will get broken (it Isn't made of Iron). But if you are a collector of prop replicas then I'd say you can't go wrong with this, just make sure you do your research first (check out YouTube reviews of the helmet) to ensure you aren't disappointed, (thinking you’re buying something you’re not).

The helmet is absolutely spot on and looks great. Good headband adjustment inside and is fairly comfortable to wear over a period of time. The LED eyes turned on while In a dark room looks incredible. The only thing i was disappointed in which is nothing to do with the item itself, it was delivered to me in just its Ironman Legends box with the delivery sticker slapped on it. So the box is a bit battered and has a massive sticker on which will completely knacker the box of I try to remove it. Lucky enough though, the helmet inside was fine and unharmed. But as for the product, definately worth buying if you're looking for a Ironman helmet without spending a fair few hundreds on one.

This item is a 1:1 scale replica of Tony Starks helmet and frankly does not disappoint. The face-plate snaps on and off and yes, does light-up. If you want to have the face-plate in the ''open'' position you have to detach it and carefully replace it in the 'up' position wherein powerful magnets will hold it in place where. No automation - so don't expect it! The finish on the helmet is most impressive - a surprisingly high level of quality on what is essentially an all-plastic prop replica.

This is my honest opinion on the marvel legends iron man helmet. Firstly the helmet is well made in construction and we'll detailed inside and out. Secondly the paint they used on the helmet seems to be very thin and would not try to clean it or rub hard with a damp cloth as ive notice the colour will run onto the cloth I would try to use a protective spray over the helmet. Thirdly I think the helmet is slightly over priced as in the USA you can now buy the same item for $72 so if you can find this for under £100 in the UK you'd be lucky and also I think that the hasbro black series stormtrooper helmet is much better and value for money. Finally if you do get this helmet you could actually spray it to give it a more metalic look as the paint job could have been better. I think this helmet should be priced at around the £69.99 mark and match the hasbro stormtrooper helmet.

Unfortunately this does not look as professional in the flesh as it does in the photos, the gold is dull and not remotely shiny, it's absolutely enormous and the whole thing feels quite cheap and flimsy, the section at the back does not connect properly and comes open at the slightest touch... Worth £40 or so tops so how they can sell for over £130 is beyond me, returned for a refund 5 minutes after opening... Incredibly disappointing.. As a buyer of collectibles and figures this just does not represent value for money, I am not expecting a premium piece but I am expecting something that is more than just a slightly upgraded child's helmet, in everything but size Amend: 11.01.17 - The price point on this has just been dropped to £85 which would suggest either mass overbuying by Amazon or recognition that the original £135 price was excessive

For the price it's a decent collectible. Mine sits on a shelf with some other helmets. To wear it's incredibly fiddly. The faceplate wants to pop off with a slight nudge, the back is incredibly frustrating to try and seal. If you wear glasses it's going to be a very tight fit. My frames are quite small but I can't imagine getting it to fit with larger frames. It's an odd product because it's perfectly suited to children but the price seems incredibly high for a child's toy, yet doesn't quite meet the mark for collectors. I wouldn't call it a total waste of money, just be aware that it's better as a display piece than something practical.

Totally awesome, it takes pride of place on my bookcase when it isn't on my head, fits all sizes of heads so anyone can join in the fun of being Tony Stark.

This is probably one of the worst buys I have ever done. The quality is poop. It is made from cheap plastic and the back is very thin, a single touch will undo it. The paint is poor, there are scratches and blemishes everywhere. The faceplate is the only cool thing about it the fact that it comes of. It is definitely not worth £100. It should be marked around £35-£40. It is definitely a waste of money and I am returning it after 10 mins into opening the box. I would definitely tell people to avoid this, as it is excessively big and not durable at all. It may look good on display but for wearable purpose, you might as well wear a motorcycle helmet.

Our grandson has been wanting one for a number of months - he was not disappointed!

Oggetto bellissimo e fatto molto bene! per gli appassionati Marvel e Iron Man consiglio vivamente. Prezzo un pò alto ma preso in sconto ne vale la pena se volete un oggetto da esposizione molto curato. Indossato non male e va bene per tutte le misure, ovviamente quando si accendono gli occhi visibilità bassa, ma presenta la possibilità di modificare l'intensità della luce che un pò sopperisce a questo deficit. Ovviamente nasce come oggetto da esposizione quindi visto appoggiato su un mobile fa veramente la sua bella figura! Unica pecca, se così si può identificare, è la facilità con cui la vernice si tolga soprattutto nella parte alta del casco dove poggia la maschera quando si tiene aperta. Ma con un pò di attenzione non si hanno problemi! Molto soddisfatto nel complesso per una replica molto buona ad un prezzo abbastanza buono per la fedeltà alla "realtà" senza contare che è un pezzo da collezione originale che non va sottovalutato.

Étant fan d'iron man j'ai vraiment craqué pour ce masque de très très bonne qualité. Son et lumière sont au programme et la visiere et amovible juste attention à la peinture qui peut s'ecailler

La verdad es que estoy encantado con este producto, cumplió todas mis expectativas. Llevaba mucho tiempo decidiendo si comparto o no debido a su precio, pero merece la pena. Es un casco escala 1:1 muy bien detallado y con muy buena terminación. El pintado es perfecto y el efecto metálico hace que olvides que es de plástico. Queda genial en cualquier colección y su tamaño lo hace convertirse en la pieza central de la misma. El primero que compre me llegó con un defecto de fabricación por el cual la parte trasera no encajaba bien y sin ningún problema Amazon me lo cambió por uno nuevo que me llegó en menos de 2 días . Para todos los fans de iron man lo recomiendo al 100%, esta nueva línea de hasbro merece la pena, esperemos que se animen a sacar algunos cascos más actuales como el de la mark 43 o la 45.

Klar, es ist ein Spielzeug....aber ein richtig cooles :) Ist gut verpackt angekommen und ein muss für Iron Man Fans. Versand ging auch relativ flott und der Preis ist meines erachtens ganz ok gewesen. Sieht Top aus und die Geräusch & Lichteffekte finde ich genial. Die Beleuchtung kann man dimmen um aus dem Helm sehen zu können. Im großen und ganzen ein tolles Spielzeug für Junge und Ältere :D
