Some parts are stainless steel and others are plastic. They are excellent quality and I wouldn't be without them.

Is this dispenser capable of dispensing Alcohol Gel ?

Hello, Customers have used the pumps for hand moisturizers and alcohol gels in the past.

Plastic cylinder broke at the top as it fell off. Can i get a replacement?

I am unable to say for definite. I see no reason why a single replacement unit can not be purchased. These soap dispensers have a 5 year warranty provided the item has been registered; either on-line or by telephone. I suppose the cause of the damage will be taken into account.
