Logitech M185 Wireless Mouse, 2.4GHz with USB Mini Receiver

I wish I had bought this months ago. Has made such a difference when using my laptop. Very simple to set up, compact, light and precise. You’ll need a USB adapter to use with a mac. Ideal gadget.

This has to be the best and most attractive red mouse I've ever bought. Lightweight, ergonomically pleasing and fits into my palm with ease. An excellent price and comes with a AAA battery too. True value for money and really lovely little mouse. It feels really nice to scroll. Easy to open the box and grab your mouse, locate the USB unifying receiver and plug it into your laptop and off you go.

I bought this for a family member who was still using a wired mouse, and for the price I felt confident giving it a try. It works exactly as expected responsive, smooth action, clicky buttons, and a solid scroll wheel. Just note the size: it’s smaller than I anticipated (the description does say this), so it may not suit everyone. That said, the compact size is also a real plus: it’s lightweight, easy to slip into a bag, and makes a great travel mouse. I’m now considering buying another one for myself to use on the go. What could be improved? Maybe an extra button or two but honestly, I rarely use them on my main mouse, so it’s not much of a drawback.

I purchased this mouse as my Microsoft one had expired, it is excellent and I use same with my laptop as I hate trackpads, a mouse is much easier and precise. Upon receipt of same, I initially thought it wasn't working as the LED didn't light up when switched on ( my dead Microsoft one had a red LED ), however, it worked perfectly when I tried it. Obviously it has a different type of LED ! To digress, I recently read a review of a laptop from a gentleman who was pleased with it but liked to do onscreen jigsaws but found it difficult to position the pieces with a trackpad, I'm sure he would find it easier to do so with this mouse.

This wireless mouse arrived well packaged, with the USB receiver neatly stored inside the mouse itself. This is really useful if you need to move it between different computers or laptops, although I usually just leave mine plugged into my laptop. The mouse can also be switched off using the slide button underneath, which helps extend the battery life significantly. It feels comfortable to hold and works well on a variety of surfaces. I’ve used it directly on a table, beside the laptop touchpad, and even on top of a magazine resting on my armchair, all with excellent results, making it very versatile. This is actually the second one I’ve bought. The first was for work, where I use it five days a week, and I’ve only had to change the battery once. I also make sure to switch it off before putting it in my bag. Overall, it’s an excellent mouse in terms of style, usability, battery life, and durability. I would definitely recommend it.
