Great quality and great size. Perfect for an 8" Christmas cake with marzipan and royal icing, also good size for 24 fairy cakes. Easy to lift cake out with the special insert. Very strong and keeps cakes fresh for longer with the lock and lock seal.

Excellent quality. Lift out insert is brilliant. I bought two. I looked at various cake carriers and none of them are a patch on this one; flimsy and couldn't even get the clasps to be secure. Whereas this one has solid clasps and takes a very weighty, 7lb christmas cake. It's worth paying the money, because you can easily spend half the price of this one for something that is an eighth of the quality. given the weight of my cake I needed something substantial to transport it, and none of the others I looked at came close.

Brilliant cake tin, fits a 9” cake comfortably you could even sandwich a 9” cake and it would fit as long as you don’t put any tall decorations on top just a flat buttercream or fondant icing

Arrived on time. A 9" cake + frosting fit well into the container. the handles did not come near the frosting and they are easy to grip so the cake can be lifted and lowered without damaging the decoration. They can then be laid flat or even removed to use the tray as a serving plate. Unfortunately my cake was 4" tall including top decoration and that means that the lid was just not fitting. 3.5" would be no problem. The lid is secured with 6 plastic flaps which hold it securely in place. We'll see how many times they can take being opened and closed before they break though.

Delighted with this purchase, it’s sturdy and definitely fit for purpose which in my case is to store & transport cheesecakes. As per other reviews it’s not hugely high despite being very generous in width (see pics for comparison) so be aware and check the measurements carefully before u order as it won’t be suitable for high cakes. It’s anything but cheap but for my needs it’s well worth it and you have the confidence of buying a quality product from a very well established company.

Purchased to contain and carry 70 Welsh cakes. There is a handled inner so that you can lift a cake out of it. The lid is domed and cseals with clip latches . Handle on the top to carry the cake carrier. Easy to wash.

Excellent product looks good

I bought this to transport pies around and it is the perfect size for a 23cm pie tin. The lid locks very tightly and therefore the handle is very sturdy to carry. It’s only been used once so far but was very fit for purpose. Very happy with this item.
