Very Beginner Friendly!
I bought this skipping rope to learn how to skip properly and it’s been a brilliant choice. It’s super lightweight, well balanced and easy to adjust which made getting the right length for my height really simple. The rotation of the steel cable helps keep a steady rhythm without tangling and it genuinely makes skipping feel easier to get the hang of, even as a complete beginner like I was (or maybe still am haha). The overall build feels solid and professional but it’s not intimidating to use. It’s comfortable to grip and works perfectly for general fitness sessions or warm up workouts. I’ve made noticeable progress since using it. For anyone wanting to improve coordination or add quick cardio to their routine, this is an excellent and beginner friendly skipping rope that feels built to last and I would highly recommend this.

Can change the length but cutting… but you need a proper wire cutter!
We bought this with the view to shortening the cable. We don’t have a wire cutter but assumed we would be able to do with an other tools. Absolutely zero chance!! We frayed the end, argh. Great product but if the description could make it clear that the shorten it, the tool that would be needed, that would make it a bit more helpful about what’s to come 🤣🤣

For someone that was starting to learn to skip these are brilliant not too jerky turn well with the handles and the pack bag makes it easier to put away. Great value for money.

This rope has been great. It’s much lighter than other ropes I’ve used ...
My girlfriend bought me this skipping rope because I’ve been looking for new ways to improve my fitness that I can do at home, or when travelling. I previously bought a cheaper rope, but it fell to pieces quickly. This rope has been great. It’s much lighter than other ropes I’ve used because of the steel cable (which is covered by a plastic protection), so it’s easier to use. And because the cable is so thin, I find I don’t trip as much. It’s certainly very fast and smooth – which is great because I found it easy to get into a rhythm at the start, and as I have been building up speed it’s been easy to get up to a high level and stay there. Adjusting the length is a piece of cake. You just move the screws by hand and tighten. If you want you can cut the length, and then put the plastic caps back on the end. I haven’t done this because I share it with my gym buddy and we can just adjust the length quickly to suit each of us, that’s a great aspect. The bag is good because a) it’s got a really badass logo and b) I can put the rope back in easily and store it in my gym bag or luggage. Perfect. I would have to say there are no downsides to this skipping rope. After a week of using it I can say that my WOD times have improved, my coordination is better and my footwork in my MMA classes has improved Overall this gets 5 stars for: Easy adjustment Lightweight and fast High quality materials Cool logo

Don’t look anywhere else - this does EXACTLY what it says on the tin.
Having been using the equivalent of a child’s skipping rope for a while now, I looked all over for a speed rope until eventually I found this one. It seems that you can really pay A LOT for a good rope to begin learning double-unders, and do you really want to when you’re a.) doing it all at home as an amateur, and b.) quite possibly lacking the talent to perform a double-under in the first place? The answer is “no”. So, I was super pleased to find the Beast Rope, along with amazing reviews for it. Within a week of learning to do singles with a new product, I have officially got my first double (just the one)! SO PLEASED, and perhaps slightly amazed too. I can’t rate this rope highly enough for its quality, but also for the ease by which you can adjust it to the PERFECT length. It’s a great rope, and unless I become CrossFit Queen of the Known Universe any time soon (I won’t) I can’t see any reason why I should ever buy a different one! Even then, why change something that clearly works a treat? Great rope. Buy it. 😁 UPDATE: More double-unders have followed :D I also want to add a few words about other reviews on here: all the 'terrible' and 'waste of money' reviews in particular. Firstly, this rope is so inexpensive that if you do find it's not for you, you haven't spent very much to find that out. Secondly, for all those people complaining that the excess rope is 'annoying', well cut it off! Find the right length, leave literally 4 or 5 inches in case you have made a mistake, secure the screw TIGHT so that its doesn't slip, and away you go. This is what I've done. It's perfect. I'm a beginner but this is hardly rocket science. Thirdly, to those who think this rope is dangerous because they're tripping over it (this really made me laugh): it's you - not the rope. If you're tripping, it means your skipping needs practice. Fourthly, if you use it outside, find that it handles differently because it has the recommended (and supplied) protector on it, take off said protector, and then complain that the steel wire is starting to show because you have, er, taken off the protector: it's you - not the rope. If you can't use it with the protector on, go back inside and use it there instead. Happy skipping :D
