Despite it's diminutive size, the Grindenstein knock-off container is great - it's neat, it's solid and it's easy to use - with a little care. It is small. Although I read the sizes (which are accurate) to check it would fit on the driptray, unpacking it was surprising - it feels too small, but in practice, it's fine. The diameter and the placement of the bar means there isn't enough overhang to tap the handle of the portafilter on the bar - the grounds fall over the back - but tapping the basket part of the portafilter against the bar works well. I've found it it holds about six 16g pucks before I need to take it out to the compost heap. In cleanliness terms, I've not had a problem with wet grinds going everywhere. With my particular setup and preferences, I end up with quite a dry puck. I could only guess that with a sloppier puck, the tapping the basket onto the bar could get messy. I also find that the smooth plastic doesn't hang onto too many grounds when it's being emptied, but when it does, it's easy to rinse out. I haven't felt the need to dishwasher it, even after 3 months use, a rinse generally does the trick.

Very useful. After continually making the kitchen sink filthy and enraging my wife, I decided to purchase a knock box. This one seemed to be well received on the internet so I took the plunge. It's a neat little thing and quite pleasant to the eye. The outside is a quality gloss plastic and the arm is coated in rubber. There is a grippy rubber base to stop it from moving and it has a decent weight. I've almost perfected my 1-hit-knock! Fits nicely under the coffee machine for storage and looks in keeping with most machines.

I was recently gifted an espresso machine and decided to buy a knock box. It's honestly one of those small upgrades that makes a big difference in my coffee routine. The design is compact so it sits neatly next to my espresso machine without cluttering the counter. It feels solid and well made, not at flimsy so I am not hesitant about knocking the portafiller on it. Functionally, it’s excellent. The knock bar is sturdy but gentle on my portafilter, and the angled opening makes knocking out pucks quick and mess free. The rubber base keeps it from sliding around, even when I’m knocking with a bit of force. Cleanup is very easy too, just rinse it out and you’re good to go. The colour goes well with the other appliances in my kitchen and doesn't stand out at all. If you’ve been gifted an espresso machine for Christmas then I would highly recommend getting this knock box. Good value for money as it has made making coffee more convenient.

This does exactly what it is meant too. It is small - about the size of a 500g coffee tin (what I used to previously use). As it is home use this size seems perfect. Big enough for a couple of days of use and easy to squirrel away on the coffee machine (or in my case a window sill). Rubber knock won't damage the filter & is robust. Easy to tip onto garden (coffee grinds help improve acidity of soil for azaleas, etc). Bought from Amazon warehouse so had a couple of chips on plastic top, but not noticeable. Unfortunately one of the endcaps for the bar going through the rubber knock is missing so you can see the steel bar. Warehouse described it as good condition so I guess good means missing part! That was only disappointment. I didn't want to pay full price as it is a lot for what it is. However I would recommend it & would now pay full price.

Small and compact, easy to clean, looks good on the counter. Feels solid and durable with a non-slip base. I've had zero spills or any grounds falling outside - it's easily large enough for my 54mm portafilter. Some users might not realise that the area striking the bar is the portafilter basket, not the handle - it's a center-bar design after all. Doing it wrong will result in grounds going everywhere out the back. The dimensions of the box should make that obvious. That may restrict very firm/hardened dry pucks that don't break apart easily, but I've never had that issue.

I tend to stick to only good / high reviews when purchasing on Amazon, and this product was up there with the best of them, so I had high expectations. When it arrived I was surprised how tiny the knock box was, to the point I was a little concerned. Once unboxed, you immediately feel reassured, yes it is on the compact side but it's plenty for an average household and their coffee each morning. You also immediately realise the box oozes quality and has the correct amount of sturdiness, which at this point I was bowled over. To finish off, the box will always be nicely secured via the inclusion of some welcomed rubber trimmings on the underside. Highly recommended and a must for those at home baristas.

Solid tap out box and the colour matches our coffee machine exactly. A little smaller than expected but that just means empty little sooner than the old one we had. Overall really pleased.

Ich habe den Dreamfarm Grindenstein Abklopfbehälter für Kaffeesatz 2021 gekauft und eins vorweg. Das Produkt ist von der Qualität und Design einfach hervorragend! Es ist rutschfest, hat genügend Platz für mehrere Kaffeesätze ohne dabei zu groß zu sein. Es ist super leicht zu reinigen (unter fließendes Wasser halten - sauber) und es sieht einfach vom Design her richtig gut aus! Wenn ich mehr als 5 Sterne vergeben könnte würde ich das tun. Ich habe eben meinen zweiten Dreamfarm Grindenstein Abklopfbehälter gekauft.

It is sturdy, well-finished in a lovely red, and holds enough pucks for about six coffees. It's nice and small and looks good next to the coffee machine.

Si vous en avez assez de courir vers la poubelle ou de mettre du marc de partout dans l'évier passez à ce récupérateur, pas encombrant esthétique et pratique un plus la barre où taper afin de faire tomber le marc de café est enrobée de mousse dons, ça ne gicle pas de partout et le bruit est étouffé pratique pour les lèves tôt qui ne veulent pas réveiller la maisonnée.
