Bought this as a gift to my mam who enjoys painting (& is very good at it too!) she had never used charcoal etc, but after messing about with the set she fell in love with it! This set is slightly expensive but is of high quality & worth every penny! I'd recommend but most importantly so would my mam, it's made her happy which in turn makes myself happy.

As a serious beginner to sketching I needed a neat and practical way to keep my drawing items all in one place and after much research chose this Castle Arts product. I am very pleased with the case quality and selection of drawing items enclosed. Included were some well produced leaflets and a suggestion to join their arts club website., which I have done. The pop up feature is very convenient and my solution to the comments by some reviewers regarding the placing of the graphite rating on the pencils was to swap the sander with the willow charcoal sticks which then meant that the pencils could be moved down their elastic holders making the pencil grade visible. They also have a number of tutorial videos on YouTube. I did have a query and was impressed with the speed and response of their customer care department.

A good quality set with a wide variety of pencils in a handy case

I purchased this set as an inclusion to my son's art themed birthday gifts. He is home schooled due to complicated health issues. As some of the items were unknown to us, I emailed the seller asking her for any suggestions for a suitable guide (a previous purchase of an art book, from a different seller, having sadly turned out to be an unsuitable choice for my son's level of ability) to the use of them. I swiftly received a very thorough, helpful relpy from a lovely and obviously caring seller who went the extra mile to ensure we got the best use out of our purchase. Genuinely one of the most amenable and trustworthy sellers I have experienced across various selling platforms. A credit to her business and to the Amazon marketplace. I highly recommend this set of quality art supplies; which my son has already used to experiment with techniques that are new to him and these are challenging him in a positive way. Very reasonable costs for such an inclusive set. I also clearly recommend this seller as a trustworthy and caring person with exceptional customer service. This is a fantastic art set. I was very impressed with all of the little tutorial booklets inside. The only thing this set lacks is a 9B graphite pencil. Why stop at 8B?

It's easy really, if you have tested this brand before then you will know it never fails to put a smile on your face. Highly recommend for people who are trying to get back in to there art sketching of all ages.. I'd recommend a book also, the 1 they give you, without the real proper paper, and more step guides it can quickly knock your confidence as they make it look soooo easy in a 5 step copy book.. I'm just being honest.
