Beautiful flavour and the mother-of-vinegar is great for seeding new vinegar fermentations
This is a pint (American) bottle of apple cider vinegar from the Bragg's brand. It is an unfiltered, unpasteurised product that is heavily laden with mother-of-vinegar. This is a very useful starter-culture for making your own vinegars, which is why I procured it. It can also be used in making dressings for salads etc - the mother-of-vinegar is harmless and if you don't like the texture, you can strain it out, though it will re-grow over time. This product has an excellent, fresh apple flavour, and a LOT of acidity - it's very sharp indeed! It can be used to make a refreshing drink by diluting it about 1:10 in cold water and adding a touch of honey, sugar or agave syrup to sweeten it - but don't drink it any stronger as it's not very palatable. Some people drink it neat thinking there are health benefits but there have been a number of cases of major damage to the esophagus so it is to be avoided! There is so much absurd hype about apple cider vinegar... To be very clear about what this product actually is, it's nothing magical or miraculous - it's apple juice that has been fermented using yeasts to make ethanol (alcohol) and then fermented further using bacteria from the genus Acetobacter to make acetic acid - this results in something that still tastes a bit like applejuice, but is very acidic - this is no different from any other kind of vinegar really - wine vinegars, malt vinegars, apple vinegars, they're all made the same way and contain the same bacteria, more or less. What is different in this specific product is that the mother-of-vinegar is left intact - that is to say, a leathery membrane or veil made of bacterial cellulose and Acetobacter cells. It is usually removed by filtration but you can it in old half-used bottles of malt vinegar quite frequently. It's harmless, but it's also not magical as some would have it. It's just cellulose and bacteria. The theory amongst some goes that consuming apple cider vinegar, specifically the mother-of-vinegar therein, can act as a probiotic, improving gut health, can aid weight loss or can even help manage diabetes - dangerous claims, of course, and mostly used to peddle products to the vulnerable and desperate - it's not a panacea, it's not miraculous and it's not worth the risk of messing with diabetes management plans, for example. To date ZERO clinical trials can back up these folk-medicine uses. Sure, you'll see a few people with anecdotal claims but that is all that they are.

Seems to work for a variety of ailments
Bought this after reading about its many purported benefits in a Sly Stallone training book. I have been using this for about two weeks now and think its great. I have seen benefits to my general health and also an increase in fat loss. My girlfriend has also been taking this and has found it has worked wonders for her diagnosed IBS, much better than the prescribed medication. This is only our experience however and we have combined its use with high strength active manuka honey as well as a broad spectrum of vitamins and minerals , as well as fish oils. We take this neat every morning. Remember to shake the bottle to mix the 'mother' and don't put it in boiling water to drink as this will denature it, rendering it useless for health benefits.

Healed a skin-tag (in combination with Lugol's Iodine)
I bought this having heard reports that Apple Cider Vinegar could be used to remove skin-tags.Firstly, I applied Lugol's Iodine 7% to the skin-tag and it turned black straight away. I thought this might indicate that it was working so I continued applying the Lugol's iodine 3 times per day. After doing this for a few weeks, I became unsure if the Lugol's iodine was actually working so, after some research, I decided to apply Apple Cider Vinegar. This skin-tag was already quite dry after applying the Lugols Iodine repeatedly but it did not look as if it was going to shift; however, when I applied the Apple Cider Vinegar it literally melted down in a matter of a couple of days or so. Amazing! No pain or anything, just worked unbelievably well. Thanks be to God for this amazing remedy.

Ohh my dayzz!
If you have a chalazion or stye please for the love of God get this!! Don't use any warm compresses, cream, eye drops well use the lubricant eye drops if eyes get dry but other than that just use this. Here's what to do, every day use any face wash of good ingredients twice a day morning and night. After every wash pat dry your face. Get a clean cotton swab and shake before use, dip slightly little in and with closed eyes just gently rub or dab it over best and let it dry. Warning do not get it in the eye. Also even if it's not in the eye it will sting and that's a good thing as it tells you it's working. And if that happens just get a letter and do a fan blow your eyes with it closed. It will help hopefully. Take a pic before and after and wait up to 5 or 7 or 10 days. Warning smells like someone just threw up.
