can it use washing machine

I'm not sure what you're asking. You can plug a washing machine into the socket and the washing machine will work ok if the socket is connected to a 240vac supply. The socket is for out door use and must be used in conjunction with a 30mA RCD for safety. You would not use a washing machine out doors in the open. Do not put the socket in a washing machine. Will the unit take large transformer plugs and still close?

Good evening to you Miss Challen. In answer to your question about fitting transformers into this electrical unit, unfortunately not the lid will not close. SORRY.What I have done is to purchase a large waterproof blank junction box and fitted it to a wooden post, fit an electrical extension lead depending on length and then you can plug in your transformer inside the junction box. Just remember to drill a couple of drain holes on the underside to let air in and condensation out, then just run your extension lead through to your 2 gang box. Hope I have not confused you to much. unit is indicating fused? is this repairable?

The socket is not fused. You will have a fuse in the device plugged in to the socket. For protection it is recommended you connect this back to your consumer unit with MCB and RCD protection.You can also get a BG WP22RCD this is a double socket with built-in RCD protection in the same size unit as a BG WP22.

Hi what sort of 3 core cable would i need to run outside As im going throw a conservrity under decking back up throw the decking and fixed to a wall?

Should be 4mm SWA cable. Rats take a liking to electrical cable under decking.
