The thickness of the Lining box is approx 30mm

Could you please confirm that the cut out in the dry wall will be14.4 mm by 7.01mm? I want to start preparing the walls.

No - that's like just over a half inch by just over a quarter inch. 122 mm x 72 mm will be a nice tight fit which you may need to ease slightly with a file. You do know that this is for a UK double 3 pin socket fitting?

What is the minimum thickness of wall board that this can be used on? I want to add a socket in my caravan but the wall boards are only about 5mm.

It will be fine, if it's not stick a bit of the board you cut out, to the back ,so it's 10mm
