Snug Denture Cushions With Ever Soft Plastic Liner - 2 Improved Softer Cushions

Arrived quickly, and good price, but in my case, fiddly to use with lower denture. I originally rated them just OK. The problem was in getting them to the right shape and removing the two sided backing and then getting the lining to sit correctly in the confined depression and crease. My first attempt was a little messy, but they did improve the fit. Being a little raggy round the edges though because of the extra margin, which was difficult to remove with a clean cut, I removed the lining later. With nothing to lose, except a couple of quid, the next morning, I tried a second time on my previous dentures which I still kept, which were very loose. I left a smaller margin this time and the result was much better. Time will tell how long the improvement lasts, but it does buy me some time before i get to see a competent denture technician, instead of my nhs dentist, who seems not altogether competent with denture fitting. I have a temporary upper denture while my bones heal and every day seems to be a different issue and they get looser in one part and painful in another. I realise that this is going to happen during the healing process but it is a pain in more ways than one. I had to use so much fixative or they would loosen within an hour. I was mortified yesterday when my teeth dropped gracefully to land on the bottom ones as I was talking to a cashier in a shop. Got these this morning and what a joy it is to wear my teeth again. Absolutely no pain, no rubbing and I don't want to drag them out of my mouth. I will be happily wearing these till I get my permanent dentures. Not sure about eating as my dentures weren't made to fit my real bottom teeth. I have to get all the bottom ones out over the next few weeks. I can smile and drink with confidence :)

I could not use these because I did not read the full specifications on the description. Please note, they are are designed for plastic plates and are not suitable for metal dentures. Totally my fault so I can't really comment on the product in use.

I was so very very disappointed with this product so I’m afraid I can’t make any positive comment. I followed the instructions word for word. I have a full denture which is is mostly made of metal apart from the teeth themselves. It states that it’s suitable for all dentures full or partial. To be honest it’s a rip off! A full refund should be given.Dont even want to give a star!Please advise how to get my money back. Do

didnt work for me I'm afraid, Top set was ok but bottom set no good, did not stay in and once food particles got under the liner they were no more use, maybe I didnt fit them correctly, but prefer to use fixative

The main thing to remember when fitting this is to take your time.Make sure dentures are completely clean and dry. The instructions fail to say that if,like myself,you have a temporary denture that has grown too big because your gums are healing,you can put this just where you need it to have a snug fit again.Just make sure you taper the edges if using for this purpose.That's where the heating with a hairdryer comes in handy! Long lasting if,as others have said,you keep it clean.Just gentle brushing will do. It is a good product if you have to wait to see a dentist and cannot abide the slipping feeling you get when you talk,never mind eat. I admit it could be fiddly for people with eye problems,or just a short temper,but at this price give it a go,no harm will come to your dentures as it does easily peel off.I found if it gives problems just plonk it in a cup of warm water for a bit. The tip of having a warm drink when you have just fitted them is a great excuse to have a cuppa and it really does help with the staying power of the cushion.
