Lottabody Texturizing Setting Lotion Concentrate 236 ml/8 fl oz

I previously used this lotion back when I had shoulder-length, damaged hair, and found it to be very good at holding old Hollywood style curls without unpleasant stickiness and helmet-like hardness, but was unsure how it would work on my now waist-length hair. My hair is probably a Final Boss of tests at this point, so I thought I'd give it a go and report results for anyone who's thinking about trying setting lotion (you should 🤣).I use 1 part setting lotion to 2 parts water in a spray bottle, section my (aforementioned long, thick, coarsely textured) hair into two parts, spraying the dry hair until it's vaguely damp, and wrap each section around a bathrobe tie or the like, secure, and go to bed.I haven't fond it sticky at all —it makes it softer and more manageable if anything—and holds extremely well, even with such a mild dilution. It makes the curls last for a good 2 days, so i can just twist my hair into a loose bun and secure with clips at night until the next wash. It's saved me a lot of time overall, and I thoroughly recommend it. I've tried newer products that promise the earth, but the don't hold up to this old standard.

Find it great for roller setting my thick coarse hair mix it 2 parts water to 1 part setting lotion and put into spray bottle and my sets lasts 2-3 days before I have to wash and set my hair again

The product worked well, the only criticism is I found it is hard to regulate how much liquid reaches the hair, I will try putting it in a spray bottle but there may be a reason why this won’t work or the manufacturer didn’t chose that method. I’m still happy I bought it.

Tried this as an experiment as I didn't want a permanent perm. It has a pleasant smell and is easy to mix and use. For the first time I used rollers with the setting lotion and also washed my hair once and didn't need to reapply as the curls stayed in. The second and subsequent times I have sprayed directly onto wet hair and blow dried my hair and I'm really pleased with the results. I'm just about to order another bottle. Definitely recommend as an alternative to a permanent perm.

Although is small, it gives you nice curls.

My grandmother is bedridden but has been wanting her her set in rollers for a while,this setting lotion is excellent salon quality. Gave my nan a new hair do and volume in her hair easy to use and smells nice too!

this definitely makes my heartless curls last longer, i had my curls last 3 days & this includes my plaiting my hair overnight!

I have a rare hair type, so i use setting lotion when i use heated stylers on it. This stuff is the only way my hair will stay curly.I used the original stinky blue one that old ladies used to use - and ut STANK. So i trued this obe.Yes, it IS odourless and yes, it works! All without making obcnoxious granny smells.

Der Glanz bleibt auch erhalten, für jeden der Plex-Produkte benutzt. Bis jetzt nichts besseres gefunden. Knappe 500ml sind mehr als fair zu dem Preis. Kein bescheuerter Geruch!

This has been around for years!! My grandma used it. She loved it and so do I. Sets curls great. May feel a bit crunchy after it’s dry BUT brushes out to soft beautiful curls. Smalls great and leaves my hair soft and healthy. Not harsh or so crunchy it breaks the hair. An all time favorite!!!!
