I cannot give a definite answer. I don't think it will clean the actual electronic part of the sensor as those parts would be too delicate, and may damage the sensor. But it will clean any build up of dirt around the sensor body etc… There are lots of YouTube Videos on how to clean MAP & IAT sensors – would be worth watching them first!

Can you spray this directly down the Throttle body intake, my vehicle the air in take sensor is non removeable.

Yes, procedure to follow and remember I am not an expert in this would be to locate the car in a well ventilated place, outside, switch off the engine, remove the Air Filter, look into the Inlet and locate the Sensor, Stainless Steel Strip suspended in the Air Flow, and direct a good 5 second spray at it, wait about 10 minutes and give a second spraying, the liquid evaporates instantly, spray again after about 10 minutes, refit the Air Filter. Wear mask and eye and glove protection, do not breathe in the Liqui Moly.

Can I use this to clean engine idle valve?

Hi Chris, I would say that from experience, there are some brands of cars that are made with an Idle Valve or a Throttle Body that are easy to keep clean and maintain without the pain of replacement. It is all down to getting to know your engine first and foremost. Cleaning an idle air control valve can keep you from buying a new part, but only certain idle air-control valves can be cleaned. The idle air-control valve must have a spring-operated valve for cleaning to make it work and often with spring-loaded valves you can buy products on the market that are specifically designed to clean unwanted build-up of grease etc. I would, however, warn you away from using this Air Flow Sensor product on anything other than what it is designed to work on. There are a number of Throttle Body and valve cleaners on the market, but hey are often just delaying the inevitable. If your car has a rough idle, it could be a number of things and a thorough inspection from a trusted mechanic would be my first suggestion. I had the same issue with a recently purchased 2003 Land Rover V8, the rough idle was all to do with a combination of poor fuel injectors, a clogged air flow and throttle body; sticks of coal where once stood spark plugs and a faulty HT lead on two cylinders. I would suggest speaking to a mechanic first and if it is a clogged idle valve and nothing else, it's a few £ to give it a good clean. However, if it is something else and you can't find it, you could be doing more damage to the engine. Good luck and wishing you a speedy and inexpensive diagnosis.

My answer to your question is: rather no. Liqui Moli Air Flow Sensor Cleaner is a liquid for very sensible electrically connected parts.
I believe, for the task, you undertake something chipper will do the job. But no one can stop you to try.
